CLR is a powerful cleaner that effectively removes calcium, lime, and rust buildup, especially in hard-water areas. It works well on sinks, toilets, showers, and faucets with minimal effort. While it has a strong smell and shouldn’t be used on delicate surfaces, it’s a reliable solution for tough mineral stains when used properly.

Works really well! Let it soak for a couple mins, light scrub with a wire brush, then rinse. Rust drips right off. Repeat as desired. A bit of a strong odor, but I know they have an orderless version available

I should have taken a before and after photo. Rust stain left from a mat I had in the tub. I was skeptical at first because the spray is so affordable, but I sprayed all over the entire tub inside and out. Left it for a little more than 2 minutes. Then went in and I used a SCRUB BRUSH, and I am telling you it works!! It removed the big rust stain. I'm not sure if my rust stain was severe or not, but it was a big one. I'm telling you it works! I resprayed and scrubbed again. I sprayed the entire bathroom, and it looks brand new. It is NOW up to my standards. The sweet virgin Mary herself would have no problem using the tub or the bowl. I wore gloves and clothes I don't care about just in case. Had eye wear just in case. I Left the window open it does have a smell, but not a knockout smell! I used it for every part of the bathroom so yes it did smell, but it doesn't last all day. You don't have to leave it overnight. Again, not sure of the severity of anyone else's rust stain, but for me it worked! It was very easy to use. I had no issues. Try it! It is affordable. If it doesn't work! Try something stronger. I got this cleaner because I was dealing with hard water stains in my bathroom, and it worked really well. The spray bottle makes it easy to apply, and I noticed results almost immediately. It dissolved the calcium and lime buildup around my sink and shower with minimal scrubbing, which saved me a lot of effort. Plus, it works on rust stains too, which is a big bonus. One thing I really like is how powerful it is. I’ve tried other cleaners that barely made a difference, but this one cut through the tough buildup quickly. I used it on my faucets, showerhead, and even an old tea kettle with hard water stains, and everything looked much cleaner afterward. It’s nice to have a product that actually does what it claims. However, there are a couple of small downsides. First, the smell is pretty strong. It’s not unbearable, but I definitely had to open a window while using it. If you’re sensitive to strong cleaning smells, you might want to wear a mask or use it in a well-ventilated area. Another issue is that for really tough stains, you still need to do some scrubbing. While it loosens up buildup, it doesn’t always wipe away instantly, especially on older stains. I had to go over some spots more than once. Still, for a cleaner that tackles calcium, lime, and rust all in one, this is a great product to have on hand.

This stuff is probably super toxic tbh, the smell is quite strong, so I don’t use it around the kids. But WOW does it do the job.

I bought this specifically to tackle stubborn calcium buildup around my bathroom shower handles. It does work, but not as quickly as I expected. I had to apply it multiple times and let it sit longer than the directions suggested before I saw real improvement. For lighter spots it works fine, but heavy buildup takes effort and repeat treatments. I was hoping for a one-and-done solution, but it’s more of a gradual process. The good news is it didn’t damage my fixtures and the smell isn’t overpowering. If you have tough calcium stains, just go in knowing you’ll need a few rounds. It helps, but it’s not magic.

Kitchen faucet had so much buildup it was stuck between shower and stream settings and neither button worked. I unscrewed the pull down nozzle and used the CLR product to soak the nozzle overnight. In the morning I rinsed it and screwed in back on and it worked like new. The product cleaned all the caked on hard water and allowed the sink nozzle to spray with ease, it doesn’t have a strong smell that irritates the nose and left the faucet so clean it shines like new again.
