This was purchased to replace an old one we’ve had for a number of years. We use ours a lot during the winter, and to replace a like for like one we had before from Dunhelm was just £4 cheaper than this one... This looked ideal and is more substantial than the old one. It’s just as easy to fit, but you will probably need to adjust the lines before use, but again this is a simple task.

After looking at all the review decided on this one a good make, it's fairly well made sides are a little flimsey but once on the wall that won't matter so, its a challenge but don't give up, first the screws they supply for the fixings, leave a lot to be desired slotted ones went out in the 60's. Phillips/Pozidriv screws have been around since the 30's so why supply slotted ones they are difficult to use hence why almost everyone uses the cross head ones. (supplier please note). So replaced fixing screws for main unit with easier cross head ones. Mark your positions on the wall and before attempting to fit to wall as the right long screw is hidden behind the strip that you pull out, pull out about 12" push in the side tension bit on the left then tape it up because if you try without taping it will keep going back in. follow this and with crosshead screws I would give it 4 stars. LEIFHEIT PLEASE REPLACE THE SLOTTED SCREWS FOR CROSSHEAD ONES AND REDUCE POOR REVIEWS.

This is my second wall mounted line - only changed the first because of many years of use some of the lines were not able to be used at full tension. This is used in my utility room, is permanently up and a great asset for hanging washing on and also for ironed shirts that nead to air for a while. Would highly recommend

First of all, don’t bother with the supplied plugs. They are way too small. I’ve never come across a clothes line that only screws on one side. The bracket on the lift is not sufficient to hold the line up. So I hung my clothes on the first three inner lines, no problems then went to have linen on front two lines, the whole thing collapsed. Line sagged and came away from wall. I wish I hadn’t thrown the box 🤦‍♀️

These have a reputation for lasting absolutely yonks! mines been up a while now ( a five minute job) and has been put under significant load.... its still on the wall and functioning perfectly. Give me a shout in 20 years ad I'll tell you if I've had it re-strung yet.

I replaced exactly the same item I had in my apartment. Best washing line for in door or out door as it can be stored away. Can dry alot of items at once as it has 4 lines. Can not fault this item

I bought this to replace the same item that had been in use for many, many years. It is in our utility room and we use it most of the year to dry our washing (when we cannot use an outside line). The five lines takes loads of washing and the unit is neat and tidy. The hooks and plastic bar that attach it when extended are poor and the bar broke on my last one after some years of use. I have made a wooden batten that screws to the wall to clamp the lines which does the job. I cannot get excited about a washing line but if you need something indoors then this does the job.

Stylish design, bright high gloss white that looks easy to keep clean - a significant upgrade on the cheaper options and does its required job to dry washing and reduce need for ironing very well.

Hallo für alle die noch vor der Entscheidung stehen kaufen oder nicht kaufen kann ich nur sagen kaufen ganz klar. Aber mal schön der Reihe nach wir haben die Situation das unsere Wohnung im 3 Stock Dachgeschoss liegt mit 3 Loggien als Balkone haben und unser Trockenraum aber im Keller ist , so und da waren sie drei Probleme bei viel Wäsche kein Problem geht man im Keller aufhängen aber wenn man unter der Woche mal schnell wenig Wäsche hat ist der Weg einfach zu weit ;) . So ein Wäscheständer kam nicht in frage also auf Amazon nach Alternativen gesucht und dieses geile Teil gefunden, echt toll sieht Super aus fügt sich toll an der Fasade ein. Über Amazonlieferung wie gewohnt schnell, ausgepackt und an der Wand befestigt nur dem Montagezubehör konnte ich nicht Vertrauen ich musste bei mir spezialdübel verwenden. Wichtig währe zu sagen das bei der ersten Benutzung das Teil ganz ausgezogen werden muss um eine Garantie zu haben das alle Leinen gleichmäßig gespannt sind und dann kann man immer noch richtig spannen und einrasten, mit den dünnen Leinen war ich erst skeptisch ob Sie nicht doch durchhängen immerhin muss ich nur 3 m ausziehen von 4,50 m , aber ich war überrascht wie stabil das ganze ist selbst richtig nass aufgehängt kaum ein durchhängen der Wäsche für das Gewicht alle Achtung. Wie natürlich die Langzeitstudie ausfällt muss man sehn aber für den Preis macht man nichts verkehrt klare Kaufempfehlung . Wenn man alles abgenommen hat einfach aushängen und langsam einrollen lassen und schon hat man einen sauberen Balkon als ob nichts gewesen wäre. Ok kleines Manko alles aus Kunsstoff auch das Zahnrad zum rasten und spannen das könnte aus Metall sein aber naja für den Preis und Leifheit ist ja bekannt für Qualität . So mehr gibt es nicht zu sagen wir benutzen das Teil immer öfter erspart den Weg in den Keller den Sport ist Mord .... wir waschen 3 mal in der Woche , ca. 6 kg Wäsche die da auf der Leine hängen feucht und die Leinen halten genial und das schon fast 2 Monate, ganz klar kaufen einfach genial das Teil.
