Works just like I hoped. I have it set on top of our tank with the door over an uncovered part (it would fit over the feeding hole perfectly but I didn't want to risk breaking the flap on the tank lid trying to remove it). So far it's doing great with both flakes and micro pellets. A few bits of flake might stick around but not a big deal. The suction cups won't stick to the textured surface of our lid so I'm going to use some Velcro to make sure it stays in place while we're gone. Easy to program following the instructions (the only thing that wasn't intuitive to me was that you want no interval if you want it to feed every day - setting it at 1 seems like it should be daily to me but it is clear in the directions). The time is in 24-hour notation so you've got to think a little extra if you're used to AM/PM, just FYI! I appreciate the little door that closes to keep moisture out.

Perfect beyond a doubt. Charges fast, easy to use, and works well. Stops me from over feeding the fish and gives me peace of mind when away.

Bought the feeder couple days before my two week vacation. The instruction is a little confusing but works as it should and fed my gold fish. The size is bigger than I thought.

Update to one star, literally the day I grabbed this to go on vacation again. Have had this for 5 months, used for 2 weeks and the automation feature is not working. All of the times are set, they have one dot, the daily interval is set to 1, everything matched the instructions and reviews.... And it just doesn't dispense automatically. The manual dispense option works like a charm, but it's not running as expected. Very frustrating for me and my fish.... This was perfect for my week long trip-- it kept my fish fed and was one less thing for my car sitter to worry about Functionality - the programming is confusing, I'm still not sure if I have it set for twice a day or not, but it at least goes once! I'd suggest improving the instructions a little, or making a video for it Capacity - good for goldfish pellets, and holds a decent sized scoop. To dispense it slides open a little trap door, then closes back up and spins the wheels. Nifty. Battery Life - good so far, lasted the entire week and a couple days till I turned it off. The only thing I had an issue with was the ability to clamp it on my tank. It will only work if you have a tank with straight sides, or a very thin ledge. My lid sits on an extruding ledge at the top so the clamp couldn't make a connection on both the outside and inside. My workaround was to sit it on top of the lid right above a small opening in the back where the filter is. It dispensed straight down into the water and as long as I didn't accidentally nudge the feeder away from that hole it worked perfectly. The fish learned the sound of the feeder and knew where in the tank to be!

This little gem has come in very handy for trips. While I'm away I don't have to ask anyone to feed my fish and they can be fed everyday for 15 days. Its easy to fill and easy to charge up before use. I did have to watch a video the first time I tried to set it but once I understood how it works I've been able to manage on my own.

I was gone for two weeks and came back to a tank full of happy fed fish. I have a 75 gallon tank and feed flakes. I was not sure if this would work with flakes, but it does and worked great! It was easy enough to program and instruction manual was well written and easy to follow. It easily attached to my tank. I have no complaints and am quite happy with my purchase. That said, I removed it because i like the feeding interaction with my fish, but know I have a reliable feeding method for next time I go away.

Works well. Easy to program. The best is that you are in control of the portions.

It's fantastic! I almost never write a review for anything but had to come back and do so for this. Previously bought one that just rotated a single compartment and it was rubbish. So was sceptical about buying a different one. But this is perfect! I use the 'bug bite' brand in it and it drops it nicely, no sticking, no issues. Fish now know the sound of it and come up when they hear it, which is really cute! I only wish it had more compartments so would last for longer before needs re filling, but then it would have to be bigger and would quickly become unwieldy, so can't complain. Clamps really nicely onto my slightly awkward tank (bit of a lip). No sign of issues and from build quality I would expect will last well. I'd you're having doubts, just get it! It's great!

Fantastica mangiatoia con scarico verticale mediante la chiusura e apertura autonatica di uno spotellino con movimento a "baionetta". Facile da programmare con durata fino a 15 giorni impostando un pasto al giorno e 7 giorni impostando 2 scarichi al giorno con eventuali mangimi diversi (per esempio uno per pesci di fondo e uno per pesci di superficie). Ideale per mangimi in granuli o in compresse. Non adatta per mangimi in fiocchi in quanto quest'ultimi si costipano non cadendo in acquario all'apertura dello sportellino. Posizionamento molto versatile con possibilità di fissaggio a bordo acquario (per acquari aperti) mediante una morsa in plastica (in dotazione) oppure appoggiata sopra il coperchio con lo scarico posizionato sopra l'apposito sportellino dell'acquario. Istruzioni anche in italiano e cavo usb per la ricarica in dotazione. Attenzione a non lasciare in carica più del necessario per non guastare la batteria (massimo 3 ore o sospensione al termine del lampeggio).
