Quiet & well built
This is great. I got tired of not being able to talk when the compressor came on so treated myself to one of these. I plumbed it in parallel with my old compressor but leave that off most of the time. This little one is always on and runs several times a day. It is not expensive so longevity was a question. It has been two years and it finally failed to start. Started fine without pressure in the tank. Something to do with back-pressure. Nothing to lose now so I tore it apart. The design is awesome. Easy to disassemble, O-ring seals on the heads and sturdy reed valves. There was some crud from condensation. There is an anti-backflow valve at the tank. That has some crud in it as well. Cleaned & greased the valves and reassembled it. Only took a few minutes. Works like new again! Would definitely buy one of these again.

Really Happy! The Little Compressor That Could!
I purchased this compressor based on reviews that I have read from other customers and I am very happy with this product. My choice was to invest in a compressor to help me save money on maintenance around my house. It has been used to clean various items such as my dryer vent and my car interior while also providing a fast fill option for filling all of my pneumatic tires. It is very quiet, my 3 year old grandson does not get scared when the compressor kicks on and he enjoys seeing all of the attachments that I use with it. The biggest use I have tested it with is as a blowout device for mt irrigation. I allow the system to fully charge and then open the valve for the line that I want to evacuate and it clears each zone individually. This saved me $90 dollars on its first use. Closing the sprinkler valve and allowing the compressor to refill is key but it only takes about a minute to refill and I run it at about 50PSI for the blowout. All lines together would overwhelm the compressor but It is very efficient if you understand how to apply the machine. I keep this machine close buy for all of my compressor needs. One thing to be aware is that when you are rolling it around using the supplied wheels and handle, the machine wants to tip backwards if you lift up past the center of gravity as the motor is the heaviest towards the back. This just requires a knowledge of general safety rules of any item like this. I keep the tank drained on follow the manufacturers recommendations for use and I have found no problems with the compressor. I fully believe this compressor has already saved me its cost in repair bills with all of the uses it can be applied to. I am very Happy!

Great little compressor!
I reviewed many compressors for several months. I needed a small, quiet, and light weight air compressor to move between my garage and my workshop. I will use this little gem primarily for filling tires, shooting brad nails, cleaning work areas, and blowing debris out of air filters. Nothing big. I received the unit just 2 days after I ordered it. Package was shipped USPS. The box was fully intact and without any signs of mishandling. Inside, the styrofoam held the unit firmly in place. I took off the plastic wrapper and the compressor looked very, very nice. The compressor didn’t have any flaws in the paint or observable material defects of any kind. The craftsmanship and engineering are excellent. Compressor lines are copper tubing and another is a braided stainless steel protective sleeve over rubber (I assume). It’s a very simple design and well put together. I know that the Limodot compressor is Chinese made, but almost every air compressor is made in China. I was originally going to get the Makita 1 gallon or the Metabo 1 gallon (both made in China). The motor on the Limodot is almost twice the hp, and the tank filling time was quicker than the Makita and Metabo. Slightly higher cfm at 90 psi with the Limodot, too. After running the compressor for about 20 minutes, the motor was very warm but not hot. What pursuaded me to go with the Limodot compressor was it seemed to be a bargain price and it is factory guaranteed for 3 years. I don’t normally buy extended warranties, but I was planning on buying an 2 year extended warranty for the Makita or Metabo compressors. So that saved me another $30 on the total overall costs. Additionally, Limodot technical support seems to be quite responsive to their customers, at least according to the reviews I’ve read. The manual is sparse but adequate, in my opinion. The shipping box said the tank is 1.3 gallons. I don’t know if that’s the actual tank capacity or not. But if it is true, 0.3 gallons is larger than their competitor's. Not a big difference, but would you rather have a 1 gallon vs a 1.3 gallon tank? The pressure gauges are adequate sized and easy to read. They are located away from one another and it would be more convenient for them to be both viewed from only one viewing angle instead of two. Using the compressor has been a very nice experience for me. Especially the quiet nature of the unit. The Limodot wasn’t quite as quiet as I had hoped. Especially as the pressure builds inside the tank. I would say the noise level is louder than a refrigerator compressor but less than a home vacuum cleaner. I had my head about 6” away from the compressor while running and could still hear a conversation. The Makita, Metabo, and CAT compressors have a 56 dB rating, while the Limodot’s is 60 dB. However, the Limodot does have an appreciably larger motor, probably why it is louder. The tank fills quickly and seems to cycle a bit more frequently than my Bostich. But that isn’t a problem for my needs. I’m 70 y.o. and moving around heavy compressors is not my idea of having fun. While the Limodot weighs 31 lbs, it’s certainly much easier to tote around than my old, ear blasting Bostich pancake, which supposedly weighs around 30 lbs. The Limodot is actually very easy for me to move around from place to place. I did not like moving the Bostich around. At all. I’m quite happy with my purchase of the Limodot air compressor. The value, the 3 year warranty, and the Limodot performance have convinced me this compressor best meets my personal needs. If you need a small compressor, you need not look any further. This is the real deal in a 1 gallon air compressor.

Great Compressor with a Few Minor Drawbacks – 4 Stars
The Limodot Ultra Quiet Air Compressor has been a great addition to my garage. As advertised, it’s impressively quiet at only 60 dB, which is a huge plus if you’re working indoors or don’t want to disturb neighbors. It’s lightweight and portable, making it easy to move around for tasks like inflating car and bike tires or using it with pneumatic tools. The performance has been reliable so far. It handles most jobs efficiently, from inflating tires to powering nail guns. I also appreciate that it runs on a standard 115V outlet, which makes it convenient to use anywhere without needing special power sources. The reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the tank is a bit on the smaller side, so it cycles more frequently during continuous use. For bigger tasks, you may need to pause and wait for it to refill. Also, while it works well for DIY and light shop tasks, it might not be ideal for heavy-duty use over long periods. Overall, it’s a great compressor—quiet, versatile, and easy to use. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a reliable unit for home, garage, or light shop work.
