Fabulous colours

Purchased these as practice paints and my journaling. I have to say I was impressed. Reactivate well with just a small amount of water on the brush, with vivid colours that lay down well. For the price they are extremely good, and value for money. The tin is also very pretty which is a bonus. If you are just starting out this is a fantastic starter set or for those that want to keep their professional sets separate to practice sessions you cant really go wrong. Highley recommended.

They came fast they are beautiful. I have other watercolour from Paul Runens and love them as they are easy to use and good paint. But sadly I received an extra intense green rather than light turquoise that means this set has 3 Intense Greens as there is also one in the 4 extra colours. As I found this out half way though taking off all the lables so I won't send them back 😒

Good buy value for money

My wife is very much into her crafting and painting. She uses various mediums including water colours. When we travel in the motorhome she like to take some paints with her especially when in Cornwall because she landscape is so dramatic and she loves to get the paints out and capture the scenes. She is the expert on the paints and she has told me that there have very good quality pigment.(like I know what that means) they mix and blend well and that they will be perfect of travelling. The paints are small square blocks of solid paint they are all wrapped individually with the colour name on the the wrapping. There are 24 different colours but 26 colour blocks with an additional Ivory black and an ultramarine. They come in a very neat tin container that has a mixing pallet and colour bowls. It has a ring grip in the base to allow single hand holding when painting outside. it is all very neat and easy to keep handy for quick use. My wife says she is very impressed and recommends them for your hobby painter.

Paul Rubens Watercolour Paint Set This paint set is supposed to have 24 colours, the set I received has 26. The paints are individually protected with a yellow paper seal, making it impossible to tell the colour without removing them, as the text on the seals is in Chinese. This set does not come with any brushes. After opening the metal, tin container, I couldn't close it properly, so the ring on the back, used for carrying, is a bit pointless, as I now need to keep the tin flat. It comes with a colour range pamphlet which translates the colours from Chinese to English. Overall, I think this is a good set with a variety of colours, the paints are good, but there is an issue with the tin closing, which for the £39 price range, I expected better. 5 stars for paints/2 stars for the tin.

Ich bin Anfänger in der Aquarellmalerei und habe mich für diesen Aquarellkasten entschieden, der sich, für mich, im mittleren Preissegment befindet. Man bekommt hier 26 (24 + 2 extra) halbe Näpfchen, die sehr gut in der Schiene sitzen. Der Kasten ist aus Metall und dekorativ von außen gestaltet. Dazu bekommt man eine kleine Swatchcard aus dem Paul Rubens Aquarellpapier mit Glitter, was einen sehr schönen Effekt erzielt. Die Farben lassen sich sehr leicht anlösen und sind sehr gut pigmentiert. Die Farben habe eine schöne Leuchtkraft und lassen sich super mit Wasser vermalen. Ich empfehle hierbei sich einen Keramikteller oder ähnliches dazu zu nehmen, da sich auf diesen die Farbe besser vom Pinsel wieder abnehmen lässt und mit Wasser verdünnen oder mischen lässt. Auf den Mischbereichen des Kastens selber perlt dir Farbe ab und lässt sich schlecht vom Pinsel auf das Metall geben. Ich bin rund rum glücklich mit meiner Wahl und ich bin mir sicher, daß dieser Kasten mir lange Freude bereiten wird.

Very nice palette, did feel like as though some pigments were less vibrant but ig that’s something to be expected in this price range atleast. Other than that it is a decent palette

J'adore cette palette. J'ai commencé il y a 3 ans l'aquarelle avec une palette d'une marque bien connue pour le même prix mais je n'aimais pas la texture des godets. Celle ci est vraiment top! Pas besoin de mettre beaucoup d'eau pour s'en servir. Les couleurs sont pigmenté. Et très variés. Seul petit défaut, la palette ne se clipse pas pour la fermer. Il faut la remettre dans sa boîte si on veux l'emmener quelque part mais je l'aime tellement que ce n'est qu'un petit détail
