2008 Colorado 4x4
Very easy to install and lifted my 2008 Colorado nicely. It raised the back 3/4 of an inch and then I just matched the front to the rear height. Along with taller tires, my truck is looking good. Would recommend having new shocks and leaf spring bushings ready for this install. But that was a problem with my truck, not the lift kit itself. Snow salt is a b!$ch

Good lift for price
This lift was very any to install and my truck is not any more stiff. Unfortunately I forgot to measure the starting height of my truck and I cant quite tell if it's really as tall as they said it should be.

Works perfect easy install
Very pleased with this kit for as simple as it is. Quick easy install straightforward easy to follow direction. The 2.5” make a world of difference on how mean the hummer looks. Does ride stiffer overall but this is always the case with torsion bar set ups. Went in almost to easy honestly counted 15 turns until loose removing key bolt. Installed the spacers and reinstalled 15 turns once snug. Measured center of the hub before just under 21” after install 23.75

Looks good. Installation instructions could have been a little more detailed.

Easy to install and great quality
This kit was pretty easy to lift the Colorado. The shackles were a perfect fit and Good quality. The torsion bar bolt spacer had no issues either. Truck does ride a little rougher but that's what a torsion bar lift and shackle lift will do. I would recommend it for a slight lift on a budget. -William

Looks great for a great price
Such a simple mod that makes a noticeable difference for a small price. Moderately difficult to install especially if your rear shackles are rusted like mine were. Took about 4 hours to do everything. The directions aren't the best but I think any weekend mechanic should be able to understand them.

Don't do it!
this kit doesn't even make sense. 1st you raise the back of your SUV. then you raise the front to meet it. the method used to raise the front will cause your SUV to bounce all over the place. i ended up taking the kit off and just raising the front using the same method and thus not having to raise the front as much and not having an issue with the bounce.

2005 Chevy Colorado Z71
Lifted truck as advertised. Slightly stiffer suspension in the front end as expected.

This is a real nice kit. Although I only used the rear shackle . It was cheaper to get the kit with free shipping then just buy the shackle with 90 dollar shipping . I never used the front bar spacers ,as I had already done the bolt turn lift . Not even sure what they do ,just so you don't have to count the turns I guess . Never used the little shock spacers as I put on 5100 Bilstein shocks . Any way H3 sits real nice now .

Stout product great manufacturer. But they REALLY need to provide 4 new shackle bolts! Because the chances of saving the factory bolts are zero if they are stock ones. The factory bolts will rust inside the bushings. Only way to remove them is to cut them…

This was really quite easy to install. I have not had a wheel alignment done yet but the truck drives quite well. The front does ride a bit stiffer, but the it only stands to reason that the tighter you make the torsion bars to gain height, the stiffer the ride has to be. You can’t fight physics. I have already recommended this to a friend. After all adjustments I was able to even all 4 corners of the Colorado out to be the same height with an average 2.5 inches of lift. Sweet!!!
