Oypla 7.5L 12V DC Car Cooler Coolbox Hot Cold Portable Electric Cool Box

We bought this box as we were taking a European trip through France and Italy in June, which turned out to be up to 32C in the car. The box worked perfectly every day, kept items cool overnight when switched off and chilled everything right down as we needed it during the day. Even bottles of water off the shelf, not cold, would cool down. Note that the two side vents let out a lot of heat from the fans, so be careful where you locate it, we had it between the seats in the front so sometimes it pushed out some heat. Overall well impressed for the money.

The thermal insulation is not too bright the internal tempreture starts to rise the moment the power is removed granted i have had it go down to -4C too cold for my main use i need to maintain between 2 & 3 C i use a digital controller to achieve that . it would be so much nicer and easier on the vehicle battery if the thermal lagging was up to a decent level

We found this cool box ideal for two people and used it while travelling in France this year. It is a very handy size. It kept drinks, cheese, butter, milk, yoghurts etc cool over long periods in quite high ambient temperatures. It should be emphasised it is not a fridge but will keep previously cold items cool. Care should be taken to make sure the switch is in the right position for cooling as it is easy to switch when handling in the car. We took the added precaution of purchasing a 12v transformer with an approximate connection to plug the cool box into the hotel over night. The Cool box is rated at 45w so the transformer should be at least twice this to avoid it overheating. It’s not advisable to leave it plugged into the car over night! The carrying strap made it easy to carry to picnic sites. Overall we were very satisfied and have no hesitation in recommending it for picnics or while travelling.

Works well and runs with no noise,good size to carry and in car,when working keeps temperature down not tride the hot ,hard to open top because no handle and closes tight

This cool box, which I purchased for use in the car was claimed to have a capacity of 7.5 lires. I tried fitting seven one litre cartons of milk, which proved impossible. Perhaps if I pored the milk into the box it might have fitted, but totally impractical for use in a moving vehicle. A return request made to Amazon was approved by the vendor. I printed the return lable, packed the item in its original packaging, despatched it, but nothing has happened since. So where is my refund.

Bought this for Hubby as he is on the road a lot, and Ice packs were just not keeping his lunch or drinks cool enough. He says its brilliant, he does still put an ice pack in, as the weather has been so hot, but it keeps food an drinks at a safe temperature. It is quite large, fine for a large car or van, but some smaller cars might struggle to find room. Would certainly recommend
