This is THE digital camera for those who love film.
Pros: - Amazing film simulations and community to share film recipes. - Best in class APS-C sensor. Coming from full frame Canon cameras there really isn’t a noticeable difference. - Compact design is genuinely impressive. - Very fast and reliable autofocus. Fujifilm have come a long way. - Huge range of relatively cheap third party lenses to explore. - Feels premium in build quality and is a very nice design. Cons: - Doesn’t come with a battery charger pack. You’re expected to use your own USB-C to charge directly into the camera. It’s a bit rich not to include it with a £850 camera, but you can buy these chargers for cheap. - Not enough hand grip. Even with small hands it’s not the most comfortable camera to hold. But again, this is no issue if you buy a third party hand grip. - Clunky menus. It’s just not up to par with Canon or Sony’s menus which feel easy to understand. It’s a learning curve for sure, but will be fine with time.

Best Camera for beginners and casuals!
Coming from my iphone 15 pro max, i was very impressed with the quality. This is my first stand alone camera, I have read reviews complaining about EVF and in body stabilization, these factors don't bother me. The lens that came with the camera rages 15-45mm focus and its great. I took this camera with me to Geneva and had some great photos. One gripe i have though is that 4 custom film simulations are not enough. If you are looking for a good fujifilm camera thats light weight, compact and wont break the bank then look no further! perfect for a portable camera

Excellent camera
I have owned Fuji XE2, XM1, X70, XF10 and XT20. I especially liked the X70 and XT20 but this camera is on par with them. Small enough it fits in my coat or fleece top and the image quality is amazing. With the vast amount of options to improve photos and videos it is a step above my previous Fujis. Auto focus is quicker then any previous and more then enough. Very happy with this purchase.

Good camera, not sure it's worth the cost
This is my first Fujifilm camera, I've otherwise got a collection of Canon cameras, and I'm endlessly conflicted about this camera. I like it, but I don't know if it's worth it for me and I always feel on the fence about it. It's a nice camera for sure, but I'm not sure it's any better than my Canon M50II. I like having the filters, but it's the kind of thing that can be added to a photo easily in post and I find I spend far too much time fussing over whether I'm using the right filter for the environment instead of just taking the shot and carrying on with my day. The filters were the main selling point for me to be honest, and on reflection I'm just not sure it's worth shelling out that kind of money for. Lightroom is far cheaper.

Not comfortable to hold
I disliked this camera the moment I picked it up. It’s small, but not particularly ergonomically friendly, especially for a camera with no viewfinder, which is why I returned it.

Poor ergonomics and handling
I have used a wide range of camera systems as a semi-professional photographer since 1996. This is my first Fujifilm camera, and it is easily the most poorly designed camera I have ever used. I bought the X-M5 as a compact street photography camera, but its ergonomics are fundamentally flawed. The placement of the control dials, buttons, and knobs is ill-considered, making it far too easy to change settings unintentionally while shooting. This results in constant disruption to the shooting process and undermines any sense of control. The shutter release is excessively sensitive, with almost no usable half-press, which makes precise focus control unreliable. The ON/OFF switch is awkward and unintuitive, further slowing down operation. Overall handling is poor, and even with an added thumb rest or grip, the camera remains uncomfortable and insecure in use. Image quality is merely adequate. When applying exposure compensation of –0.3 EV or beyond, strong and clearly visible vignetting appears, which is unacceptable for a modern camera. Battery life is also subpar, limiting its practicality for real-world street photography.
