D-Limonene 100%~ 1 Gallon Bottle – 128 FL Oz USP Food Grade- Kosher - All Natural Orange Oil (1 Gallon)

After 7 years, I finally used up the container of chlorinating chemicals from the same company. (We have a 300 gallon spa and only use it for part of the year. So, not a lot of need for this stuff.) With the old chemicals the instructions said to add 3 Tablespoons of granules. This new stuff is a different chemical and I only need to add 2 teaspoons to get the same level reading on the test strips. The only difference I noticed is that the granules are a bit bigger and do not dissolve quite as quickly. But most dissolve by the time they are a foot or so under the surface.

This is excellent quality at a fair price.

Arrived no problem and is as described

If you could press oil from orange Tic Tacs, and then concentrate it, I think this is what it would smell like. It's so strong that you can smell it through the container, which should probably be steel now that I think about it, but the scent also makes me smile every time I go near it. Thats all. I didn't buy it to smell great, it just does, and I haven't gotten around to making any wood finish with it, which is what I actually bought it for.

I used it to seal a wood cutting board. For this, it did not work that well. However, I also sprayed a little on a wet wooden floor after washing it with Castille soap before drying it. It worked beautifully. The floor is shiny, and there are no tracks from walking, etc.

FYI for those new to this product - there is a bit of space in the bottle and it feels like less than a gallon in the hand. I'd originally thought the package had leaked in transit later realized the vendor is packaging 128 oz by fluid volume, rather than by weight. Given d-Limonene has a density of ~7.2 lb/gal, the as-packaged weight should be a bit over ~115 oz which matches what I received. The vendor could reduce confusion by labeling the weight in grams as well as fluid ounces.

I used to work for a certain company doing certain work, and I decided to research our main chemical concoction to reverse engineer it. I am happy to say that this is quite the powerhouse and it's great being able to adjust ratios for different jobs. It is also sold for hardware cleanup under proprietary packaging, but there is no fooling my nose. Save yourself some money and buy it in bulk!

Great for removing oil base stains. Also a great insecticide.
