Purchased the safety ring for our community pool. It’s a quality product & good value for the money.

USCG APPROVED!
Important to have this on a boat if the unimaginable should happen. Also, great for practicing rescue maneuvers. Always good to be prepared for the unexpected. Happy with the product, bright color, & price. USCG approved was very important to us.

Very good quality lifesaver
We always have a life preserver on a wall by our pool, not only for looks but safety as well. This product is well made and I am very pleased with it.

Holds up well for about five years in the southeast
Take is in when the season is over. The sun will take a toll on the line which appears to be the first failure point. Always test the line strength at the start of the season. If it starts to powder on the outside, it is too weak for service... replace the line.

Not UV stable
Couple things about these life rings. They deteriorate rapidly. Shame on Taylor for selling a marine grade item that is not suitable to be outdoors. The plastic rope handle disintegrated after just two summers from UV damage. The coating over the foam ring is a porous material that allows mold to penetrate and it's impossible to get it to look decent after its starts to mold. Some may say you should keep this item under cover to protect it from the weather. Well, on a boat you really can't do that. You don't have the storage room, and you need it available and on the rail in case of emergency. Would it really hurt you bottom line to make an item that lasts the typical 5 years a person owns a boat?

Needed for Child Care Licensing
In California Pool laws got stricter! Needed for my Child Care Licensing and Home Insurance. Has ti be coast guard approved! This is beyond great and seems to be able to safe lifes, especially children. Im a 90s kid, so drowning how we learned to swim lol. But now a days got to be extra extra extra safe.

Life Ring
I ordered this life ring because my grandkids were going to spend a couple of weeks with us and I knew that they would be living in our pool. This item turned out to be overkill for a regular in ground pool. The item is heavy and industrial strength and is more appropriate for a boat and not a pool.
