MLCS 8369 1/2-Inch shank Carbide-tipped Router Bit Set, 30-Piece

I'm not a contractor, I'm a DIY'er. For my purpose, I see little point to buying router bits that cost as much for a single bit as this entire set costs. These fit the bill for having a lot of options, with blades that stay really sharp in my moderate use of them. This pack is a great value, I'd re-buy these in a heartbeat if the set was lost or stolen.

I luv these bits. Durable and haven't dulled any yet. Cutting hard maple n walnut a lot. If u do woodworking and don't do it for a living u r nuts to spend crazy amounts of money on other bits. If one of these dull because u use a certain bit all the time replace that bit with a freud or something better. This is a great set to give u versatility and i wouldn't necessarily call these beginner sets. This stuff is good quality.

I have some very expensive carbide bits, but I was limited as to shape choice. Now I have a much greater selection and so far, after using several of these bits, I am very impressed with their sharpness and durability. The box is a little cheap, but us woodworkers like to make our own boxes anyway. I would rather have the quality in the bit rather than the box. I like these very well for the price.

I wanted a set of router bits to use without breaking the bank. These are high quality and work well. I'm more of a weekend warrior type, so I'm not using these every day, therefore I cannot claim to know their durability after extended use. So far so good, though and they run smooth in my DeWalt Router. This has a lot of your basic needs in a box set. Highly recommend and if I have any issues I will update my review.

Not many router bits are this quality for this price. I was very surprised. The bearings aren't great but are functional, the carbide is a high quality that has a good edge on it.

I have only used one of the Ogee bits on about 6 linear feet of poplar. The cut is nice and I can happy with the quality for the price.

This appears to be of good quality. I have only used a few of the bits. It seems to be good value for the price. If there is a down side, there are a number of bits which may never get used. The case is nice and protects the bits well.

So far I've used only a few of these bits and as long as the cutting speed is correct they are as good as any top brand bits. As with any cutting, milling, drilling operation, speed and rate of feed are critical to optimum cutter performance.
