This game is fun, colorful, and perfect for younger players. The controls are easy to learn, the story is charming, and the characters are very engaging. I bought this game for my 5 year old who’s new to the Switch and it’s a great beginner game to learn how to use the controls. The game reads the instructions out loud which is very helpful for this age. There’s also a butterfly that leads the pony through the game so it’s easy to follow. I read reviews that it’s a short and easy game, but I don’t see that at all for this age group. It’s the perfect amount of being interactive and keeping a child entertained without being too challenging. I don’t recommend if your child is a pro at the switch but for a beginner, I 100% recommend!

Perfect for those that can not yet read. This game communicates the instructions and gives you visual ques to help guide you. Our 5 year old loved it!
