As an artist, I couldn't wait to see what the inside of the book looked like. I was pleased to find how well made this guide is. There are 3 different drawing techniques of varying complexity. This book could serve a child 6+ for many years as their drawing skills improve. From simple tracing sheets to grids to shapes, it is a good book to refine your child's drawing abilities. No need for extra paper. Space included in the book to draw. Great for trips.

This is a beautifully laid out guided drawing book. The steps are easy to follow. The colorful overlays are exciting in and of themselves. What’s more important is that they let the learner understand where the steps are taking them. I also think using it builds a foundation for drawing one’s own characters.

got this for my 9 year old's birthday as he has been wanting to learn to draw. Both my 12 year old and the 9 year old have used this and they both enjoy it! My 9 yr old sometimes has difficulty with spatial awareness, he has dysgraphia, and it's sometimes difficult to follow directions or a drawing or building plan, but he can follow this! he's already drawn 4 characters following the directions and doing it himself on the grid paper, i'm very impressed , and he is very proud of his work!

Just recieved this and I am very pleased it gives you three ways to learn to draw. You can trace the full size image, the tracing paper is in the book. You can learn by the grid method the grid is in the book. You can learn by shapes and putting them together. All images once drawn can be coloured. A great project book!
