Is the shaft go through 100% of the handle to the socket end at the emd of the handle or is there a gap between the shaft & socket hole?

The drive end of the tool completely fills the drive insert end of the socket, very little to no slippage as the tool is turned during use. A little unsure if that is exactly what you are asking.

Does this have a female 3/8 hole in the bottom of the handle?
