I’m so happy with my Instant Pot Pro Max with WiFi. The best feature is the auto venting. No more waiting for food to finish cooking before venting, no more spill overs, no more steam burns. Easy to program separate venting methods in app, like natural release 10 minutes followed by quick release. Sous vide & instructions from Serious Eats produced the best steak I’ve ever eaten. 100% restaurant quality. Pork belly also turned out super soft. So good! Excellent for cooking pasta at high altitude. Cooking pasta on the stove at high altitude takes forever, but only 4-6 minutes (pressure cook) after preheating in the Instant Pot. One pot noodle casseroles are also a breeze. Best of all, my visually impaired daughter can easily use it thanks to WiFi & the app. This will be so helpful after my upcoming back surgery w/ a 6 month recovery time. We won’t be stuck with months of frozen dinners like we were the last time I had this same surgery. She’ll be able to easily cook with limited help from me & the pot is small enough to where we can use it in my bedroom, so she doesn’t have to carry plates up the stairs. This is the perfect Instant Pot for unique families like ours.

Works like a charm, app integration is surprisingly useful, and looks great.

I have been a fan of Instant Pot since I bought the first model for sale in 2016, the Instant Pot Duo 7-in-1 Electric Pressure Cooker. It fast became my favorite kitchen appliance and cooking method. I cooked everything in the Instant Pot from breakfast to dinner, desserts and yogert. Almost 5 years later it wore out and I replaced it with the Instant Pot Duo Evo Plus 10-in-1 Pressure Cooker. Later, I decided to purchase the 6-Quart Whisper Quiet 9-in-1 Electric Pressure Cooker. It's great to have a second IP for those times you want to cook another dish when the IP is already in use cooking something, especially yogurt because it is a lengthy process. I make a lot of yogurt in the Instant Pot. Try it and you will never buy yogurt at the grocery store again because homemade yogurt is so far superior and so easy to make in the Instant Pot! When I saw the newest model Instant Pot PRO Max Wi-Fi Smart 10-in-1 Pressure Cooker on Amazon, I was so impressed. The number of cooking methods and features this new model has is jaw dropping. It is the crown jewel of the Instant Pots! I purchased it and gifted one of my IPs to a friend. I haven't done Sous Vide cooking in years and am eager to use that mode. Also, the new app is a great bonus feature for anyone who has low vision, as I do. I have a first negative comment about an Instant Pot though. I am not a fan of the NutraBoost feature on this IP because the noise it makes is loud and annoying. It is an optional feature that I will not utilize again. The beautiful new white Instant Pot PRO Max Wi-Fi Smart 10-in-1 Pressure Cooker is the crown jewel of the Instant Pots. I always kept appliances in the pantry prior, but this one is so gorgeous that it has earned it's own special place on the countertop.

I LOVE THIS INSTANT POT!!! 💕 I can make easy or complex recipes I set it and forget it and I get a notification when it’s done. !! This is the BEST ALL IN ONE COOKER EVER!!!! I too edit this because I had to return it because something happened to the pot I was told by ai that it was defective. Now, that being said I can’t say they’re all bad it was stuck on pressure cook and the pressure cooker water logged my sourdough bread I was trying to make I didn’t use too much water In fact I was concerned that I didn’t use enough. I really loved it before that also very limited on what you can do without the app most functionality is dependent on the app. I didn’t read anything about it otherwise I would not have purchased it because internet here is crappy.

The Instant Pot Pro Max Wifi is substandard. As but one example, Rufus for the Instant Pot Pro Max Wifi states that the fermentation period, when making yogurt, can be adjusted. When making yogurt, there is the pasteurization (boiling the milk), the cooling down period, the addition of the starter, and then the fermentation period, which is about 8 hours or more. This statement by Rufus is false. Once the yogurt selection is pressed, it becomes fixed and irreversible. This is in sharp contrast the Instant Pot Ultra, 3 quart, which allows adjustment of the pasteurization temperature, and the fermentation temperature and time. The fermentation temperature for yogurt is ideally 115 degrees F to 110 degrees F. The Pro Max Wifi warms the milk for fermentation to 105-106 degrees F. Substantially below the ideal fermentation, with no way to raise the fermentation temperature. This is by admission of Instant Pot in its previous manuals, specifically for the Ultra 3 quart. On top of this, if one inadvertently cancels the yogurt selection on the Pro Max, one cannot pick up from where they left off. One has to start from the very beginning, which is the pasteurization or boil process. This is very problematic if one has already put the starter into the yogurt milk. Again, the Ultra 3 quart permits a person to pick up after the inadvertent cancellation. The Pro Max Wifi is also not intuitive to use, despite another observation. Before returning the item to Amazon, I had to refer to the owner’s manual each time I used the Pro Max Wifi. That is not what I would call intuitive. But there is more to the deficiencies of the Instant Pot Pro Max Wifi. That is the internet or wireless connection. The terms of agreement contain highly oppressive, and arguably illegal, terms. It contains a waiver of liability on the part of Instant Pot. One releases Instant Pot from any and all liability regardless of cause, even if Instant Pot is clearly and solely responsible for the harm caused. In addition, the terms of service contain an indemnification provision. One agrees to indemnify Instant Pot for its attorney fees and costs, regardless of liability, again even if Instant Pot is clearly and solely responsible for the harm caused. For example, if the Instant Pot blows up and harms a guest in your home, and culpability rests solely on Instant Pot, and the guest sues. Set aside homeowner’s or renter’s insurance. The purchaser agrees to reimburse Instant Pot for all costs and fees and judgment (including attorney fees) incurred by Instant Pot in litigating the matter. That alone is enough for me to decline the Instant Pot Pro Max, particularly since one of the hallmarks of the device is its internet, wifi and blue tooth connection. None of these deficiencies exist with the Instant Pot Ultra 3 quart and prior to its bankruptcy. Since Instant Pot declared bankruptcy in 2023, its business model has sunk to new lows. And something to stay away from.
