Great little coffee table! I'm actually quite impressed with the quality. I have put together other pieces with similar hardware. It took probably about two hours, as other reviews have stated. The instructions are sparse, but mostly clear illustrations BUT BEWARE ON STEP 6!! I was doing fine until I didn't notice the orientation of board 3. I thought it was the same either way and didn't notice the hole that is supposed to go toward the bottom per the picture. Not realizing, I placed it with the hole at the top and when I went to screw in the top piece(which ends up being the bottom, but you're putting it together upside down) the screw was just spinning and I thought the hole was drilled too big. Ended up a whole thing, but thankfully my husband noticed the hole and we were able to take off the large piece, and orient board 3 the correct way. Proceeded without any other problems. SO! As long as you take the time to really pay attention to the pictures in the manual, you should be good to go. I put it together mostly myself, with a little help from my son screwing in some pieces. I read other reviews that said they used a power drill. I used a manual philips head screwdriver and was fine- sure my hands got a little tired. If you're comfortable with power tools, go for it, but I'd be a little worried about drilling too far and cracking the pieces. It is very sturdy. The hydraulic pieces come put together, you only have to screw them to the boards, which is a little awkward, but not hard. I did that part by myself, perhaps a second pair of hands would have made it even easier. I really love the look of it. The inside storage is spacious. I didn't realize when I ordered it that the outer shelves are divided in the middle so you have a little shelf on each side, rather than one deep shelf on one side. I actually prefer it this way, I think the shelves are plenty deep with the divider in the middle. As far as longevity, it will be interesting to see how it holds up. I am getting some coasters so we can try to keep it from getting wet. I know this kind of material doesn't like getting wet. With a house full of kids, not sure how long we can keep it looking as nice as it looks now. But for the price, I'm really happy with the quality. Everything needed to put it together was provided. It came well packaged, no missing parts. As I was putting it together I used the Styrofoam pieces to protect it from getting scratches. Overall, I would recommend this piece, especially for a smaller space. We have a long narrow living room, so the rectangular shape instead of a square works well for our space.

I really like this table. No issues so far. The top opens up slowly and feels like there is weight to it which makes me feel more comfortable when I open and close it. It doesn't slam down which is good. It looks pretty nice too, and is big and spacious inside. For the price it's a really good and affordable table. No scratches yet, the color matches the listing and it seems pretty durable so far.

I love my table! It is exactly what I wanted. It has plenty of storage space. It was very easy to assemble and the directions were spot on. Everything arrived in perfect condition with all needed parts. It is very sturdy and very pretty. The price is great for the quality that you receive. The wood grain finish is very believable. I am completely satisfied with my purchase.
