Batchelors Smash Instant Mash Potato Original 360g

This was originally Cadbury's Smash and despite product name changes remains the best of the instant potato products, better tasting and easier to use than a number of supermarket own-labels. No particular 'nasties' in the ingredients. Very useful to use when only a small amount of mashed potato is required. Adding a large teaspoon of butter before mixing the powder with boiling water much improves the dish. This large tub is good value and I will purchase again.

The product itself was really nice very tasty. Very quick for my elderly mother who likes really quick simple meals. I ordered two which was lucky as one of them was open the plastic lid was completely off and well as u can imagine powder everywhere. I've not done anything about it as it's only a few pounds but the mess was everywhere, iam still finding it now after I've hoovered....never mind that's life. The product fab.

great product to us if in a hurry

Maybe not as good nowadays. A scoop would be useful to measure a small portion with measured amount of water. Needs lots of butter and pepper and salt.
