This was a really nice case and definitely great value, since it is far cheaper than the Apple Magic Keyboard but still of great quality. I loved the versatility of being able to take my iPad off of the keyboard (but still have a case on it) and change the orientation. However, I returned the item because I felt that it was far too heavy for me, and it added about an extra pound of weight to my iPad. I opted for a smaller bluetooth keyboard and mouse set instead.

First, I would say this is 3.5 stars but I’m rounding up. I think it would be great for ~80% of people. Here’s what I like: - cost - it’s about a third the price of the official Apple product - full coverage - the magnetic thin case fully covers your iPad and the flap secures the Pencil - the keyboard - I love the backlit colors. The official product (for iPad Air anyway) doesn’t have that feature - battery life - the keyboard itself needs to be charged separately from the iPad however it seems to last forever. I’ve never had to recharge it in the ~month I had it Okay here’s what I don’t like, and why I ultimately decided to return it: - weight - about double the weight of the official keyboard. Having an Air was due to its size and weight and having a really heavy attachment negated that - Bluetooth vs auto connect - the Bluetooth lag isn’t too bad, but it’s not automatic and it slightly annoyed me. The worst part, though, was I felt it made the keyboard buggy (some keys didn’t work, had to reset/disconnect and reconnect. Now back to the weight, which I feel is the issue. While it’s great that it is very protective, it makes the iPad heavy to tote around. Since it has a magnetic thin case (I love this on its own tbh, I’d buy it) the magnet doesn’t stick to surfaces as advertised. Like, I would not trust this to just stick on my fridge. It’s not strong enough. Also due to the weight, I felt it made the device weight disproportionately distributed and sometimes it would topple back if I was trying to view at a certain angle. It also wouldn’t always stay at the angle I wanted because the case. After a couple weeks, you could begin to see the creases in the case which I did not expect. Finally, while the fit was great and I love that it’s basically a two in one case, it is super thick, about 50% thicker than the Apple Magic Keyboard. In sum, it’s a pretty great product for the price, but having had an Apple Magic Keyboard before for an iPad Pro I used to have and my partner also having the Magic Keyboard, I felt like mine was not as portable and decided to return. I think if I didn’t know any different I would have kept it, but it’s still solid and even in white it didn’t get dirty and was very easy to clean, which I appreciated.

Si me gusto... es bastante pesado, creo que es mas pesado que una laptop comun, el mouse a veces no funciona bien... pero despues de eso... cumple con lo basico

Want to start this by saying that the quality for the price is fantastic. I waited a few days after receiving to leave this review so I could really use the keyboard before it faced any judgement. However this thing is bulky and heavier than I expected it to be, this could be a pro or a con depending on someone’s personal needs. Pros; great quality materials, the keyboard has a track pad which many keyboards do not have. Security and safety of my iPad is 10/10, I’m fairly certain I could drop it off an apartment building with little to no damage. The ability to tilt the case is nice too. At first it doesn’t look like it goes back far enough, but as seen in my photos it actually has a decent range it’ll tilt back. Cons; it’s actually a touch thicker than my 2024 MacBook Pro (see photo), I feel it lost a bit of portability in some ways with how much mass my iPad gains in the case. It’s heavy (in terms of an iPad) Only a slight difference in weight between my MacBook pro (14in screen) and my iPad (iPad air 11in for reference). Will definitely be keeping it, i don’t love taking my MBP everywhere with fear of scratching it, and many cases prematurely wear out the hinges. So this is a good solution for day to day tasks I can do with my iPad. It’s sturdy, and I’m not afraid of dropping it off a table by accident in this.
