Quality product - especially at the price point. Would buy again.
This is a great product for the price - picture quality and color look great - brightness is just fine for normal use. Some have said it is slow - that was not our experience when we set it up last night. Is it a $1000 tv? No - but for the price it is amazing. Would absolutely buy again - got a great bargain on it. Coming back later to say that I am still amazed at how good this was for the price.

Surprising under-the-radar quality!
Read some of the reviews, and was a bit hesitant to purchase because of the unbelievably low price. Got my unit yesterday, hooked it up and watched, playing with the options for a while, and I couldn't be more pleased. Picture quality is as good as I've ever seen, even on much costlier TV's, sound is acceptable, and excellent with my low-cost sound bar and sub-woofer.

Had the potential to be great; Ended up less than mediocre
Terribly slow TV. Lags constantly. Seems like we are frequently having to restart it from the settings menu or occasionally even pull the plug physically and let it sit for a bit. Worst part? Don't think you're gonna use it "offline" in the event your Internet is out or, like today, there are known issues across all of Amazon Web services. It just won't load anything. Even apps like Plex, Emby, jellyfin, etc that don't "need" internet. For the price, it's worth keeping and throwing in the garage as a display. But I will likely plug into a Roku streaming stick and use that instead ironically. Update 11/1/2025: this thing decides randomly to just stop responding especially when we have speakers plugged in via HDMI ARC. I have to either turn off my speaker system and turn it back on, unplug the speaker system and plug it back in, or reboot the TV completely to get it working again. All "software" up to date (no updates available). Changed my rating to 1 star. It's just really a less than mediocre TV. If you're on a budget and really want a big TV for cheap, then I get it. I really do. But if you can spend more and shop around, trust me this isn't the one you want. Update: 02/07/2026 I will be selling this TV cheap cheap on FB just to get rid of it. Completely unusable with sound bars. I've tried two different ones and it does the same thing. The HDMI Arc is bugged. Honestly I am moving away from Amazon TV / fire stick altogether. Probably go back to Roku. I have a 65" TCL Roku TV I bought nearly 10 years ago that has zero issues with 1.) not having internet 2.) plugging in a variety of different sound systems via optical or HDMI arc 3.) slow, laggy, buggy OS. It just.. works.

Great TV For the PRICE
I purchased the INSIGNIA 65-inch Class F50 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Fire TV (NS-65F501NA24), and after 1 year of use, I’m excited to share my thoughts on this impressive television. Picture Quality: The 4K UHD display is stunning, offering vibrant colors and crisp details that truly enhance my viewing experience. Whether I’m watching movies, sports, or playing video games, the picture quality is sharp and engaging. The HDR support also adds depth to the visuals, making bright scenes pop and shadows more defined. Sound Quality: The built-in speakers deliver decent sound quality, though I recommend considering an additional soundbar or external speakers for an even richer audio experience. The sound is clear, but there’s some room for improvement in terms of bass response. Smart Features: As a Smart TV, the F50 series is packed with features. The Fire TV platform is intuitive and user-friendly, providing access to a wide range of streaming services like Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, and more. The integration of Alexa makes for convenient voice control, allowing me to search for content, adjust volume, and even control smart home devices with ease. Performance: This TV performs smoothly with minimal lag, and navigating through apps and settings is fast and responsive. The picture transitions seamlessly, whether I'm flipping through channels or streaming content. Design: The design is sleek and modern, fitting well in my living room setup. The thin bezels maximize the screen size, making it feel even more expansive. Mounting it on the wall was straightforward, and the legs provided during setup are sturdy. Value for Money: Given its features and performance, the INSIGNIA 65-inch Class F50 Series TV offers excellent value for money. It competes well with other brands in a similar price range, and I feel like it delivers quality typically associated with higher-end models. Overall: Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the INSIGNIA 65-inch Class F50 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Fire TV. It has transformed my home entertainment experience with its stunning visuals and smart capabilities, making it a fantastic investment for anyone looking to upgrade their TV and have internet and streaming connectivity built in, connects well with sound devices also.

Nice daily tv
was on the fence about this Fire TV at first because it was noticeably more expensive than the Westinghouse Roku TV I was used to. I’ve been a Roku user for a long time, so switching ecosystems wasn’t something I took lightly. After spending time with it, though, I’m really glad I made the jump. I’ve been able to find pretty much everything I watch without issue, and the interface feels like a nice middle ground between Roku’s simplicity and Chromecast’s flexibility — both of which I’ve used in the past. It took a short adjustment period coming from Roku, but once I got used to it, navigation felt smooth and intuitive. The extra features and integrations make it feel more capable without being overwhelming. If you’re comfortable with Roku but curious about Fire TV — or want something that blends ease of use with deeper features — this has been a solid upgrade for me.
