The Device [DVD]

not only is the plain boring, but to be honest, I felt ripped off: ok, don't judge a book by it's cover, but that cover / poster has NOTHING to do with the movie. at least not visually. I knew this would be low budget and all, but I had expected a bit more visual alien-ness than 2 minutes of bad actors in s***ty alien costumes.And don't think you'll see any cyborg transformation or the like in this movie. Not there...Dont watch

Slow moving with characters who are not very charismatic. Low budget - the alien looks like a biker in leathers, and the artefact is a small glowing ball - like what you can buy in Argos or in an electrical hardware store.The main special effect is that the ball glows - aka a small light bulb inside it - I think it is a 3v bulb.

Appears to be "another US made for TV video" not a film from the cinema.Cheaply made, alien effects poor, story poor, basically fairly boring I kept hoping it would improve but it didn't.

Not a bad movie. Slow to start but changes when everything kicks off

Altho i didn't get this from Amazon I can say i enjoyed it more than some of the comments would warrant. Yes, some of the acting was a little wooden and there were quite a few cliques but it was not filmed on a shaky camera such as that boring Blair Witch, now that was a waste of 25 or so minutes. All I could stand.

Disappointing

Agree with the posters that this is not just a bad film but a rip off. The film is just nothing like the back cover, or image on the DVD, describes or implies. I want my money back, in fact I'll have those 2 hours of my life back too please!
