ADATA Premier DDR3 1333MHz 4GB Memory Modules (AD3S1333C4G9-R)

Pros- Works (always an important thing)- Cheap price point for what you're getting in performanceCons- Packaging (hate that industrial grade plastic)- Instructions came in Chinese (no localization)Can't complain about this product. It works, and it works well.Install was a simple DIY. Took me about 20 minutes, without having replaced RAM before.The only thing is that the instructions/specs/packaging came in Chinese. I know ADATA is a Taiwanese company, but still. A little bit of localization would help.

Normally, I'm one to stick with the big brands; Kingston, Crucial, g.skill... However, I wanted to get something through Amazon and I have had pretty good luck with ADATA (well their flash drives) so I figured why not. This memory was purchased for my Acer Aspire TimelineX 4830T. I decided to stick with 1333MHz since this laptop (and most others) apparently can't go any faster, thus no reason to spend more on 1600MHz.Once installed, the system booted right up. I ran a few tests with memtest and Prime95 without any errors. I've not done any official benchmarks but this memory seems quite standard. 9-9-9-24 running at 666MHz. Windows Experience Index (Memory) went from 5.9 to 7.4 after the upgrade. I still call the whole Experience Index BS but obviously there's quite an improvement there in general!So if you're looking for an inexpensive 8GB kit and don't mind straying away from the more common brands, you really can't go wrong here. Honestly, my only real complain was the blister pack the RAM was in packaged in!

Ordered these ADATA 16GB 2x8GB modules for my HP Envy Sleekbook 6-1010us. Would not boot after I installed them.After replacing the original RAM module back in the Sleekbook just beeped and did not boot. I was becoming really worried and swapped them in and out multiple times and finally it booted after the fifth time placing the original (4GB Hynix) module back in. Maybe they were not seating right not sure, but I have replaced notebook memory many times before in a dozen other notebooks and never had issues. Once I had it booting again with the original module I place a single ADATA in with it. The notebook booted but would not recognize the ADATA module.

I want to upgrade my laptop (MSI A6200), this is a Intel i5 based system, I upgraded the OS to Windows 7 64 ultimate, and my original memory was 4g, it is barely enough for the 64 bit windows, I bought the ADATA memory, received it on time, replace the two 2 g memory came with the laptop, and plugin the new one from ADATA, it works great, happy with it.I had in for a week now, the system works fine and performs well, from all the indication, once the system is stable for more than a week, the long term reliability should not be a problem. I will update this in the future if problems pop up.

I think this is an overpriced ram, but at least it is cross compatible with other RAMs for an old laptop.

I got this ram because my wife was complaining that her laptop was slow. with the new ram she said that has speeded up her searches and on line work. She won't let me touch her laptop so I will have to take her word for it. The install instructions made it an easy upgrade from 4 GB to 8 GB. I was done installing in about 5 minutes.

My daughter's HP laptop came with Adata memory. When I decided to up grade my HP Elitebook, I decided to use the same. Well, It arrived in pristine condition. It was exactly what I ordered and my machine recognized and used it immediately upon startup. I can't ask for more. The package says lifetime warranty. I hope I never need to use it. So far, so good. I recommend this memory upgrade.

I bought this product thinking in expand the RAM in my mac, I look for the specifications (DDR3, 1333MHz, etc) and i found this item, but it seems that does not work for mac or the one i bought is defective because the mac restart automatically. I have trying to contact Adata but never answer, and I need to solve this issue cause i use the mac for work.

Esta memoria funciona muy bien, una excelente opción.La compre para una Macbook Pro de finales del 2011 y funcionó sin ningún problema (compre 2 modulos de 8GB para un total de 16), un detalle curioso, es que a pesar de la memoria es de 1333 Mhz, la laptop me la reconoce a 1600 Mhz, aunque eso no ha afectado el funcionamiento en elo mas minimo.

No lo pude usar en la Mac, no entraba en la ranura a pesar que si era el modelo que le corresponde. Lo llevé a la Mac Store y me dijo el técnico que no le cabe porque tiene que ser pieza original de apple.

Un dato curioso es que quise sumar la de fabrica dimm 4 gb y esta, la primera no la reconoce.Cuando el equipo puede aguantar 16 gb en la ultima actualizacion de la bios.Sera por la diferencia de generación de las tarjetas?

Ich habe bereits mehrere Produkte von adata, bin immer voll zufrieden gewesen.Die Speichererweiterung hat sich trotz bereits verbauter SSD gelohnt.Eingebaut und sofort vom System erkannt. Leistungsindex unter Windows 8 ist 7,7. Bei 4 GB sind es nur 4,8 gewesen.Hat sich mal wieder gelohnt.
