You know if I could sue the previous homeowners of our current home I would! But thank goodness for this concentrated vinegar! Our yard - all the way around- sides, front and back have sow thistles everywhere! They kept the yard mowed extremely short so we and others looking at the home couldn’t spot them and also because they had bushes and all types of trees and plants everywhere. As we began to clear every useless overgrown weeds and plants everywhere away this allowed all the sow thistles to take off and grow like crazy. I had been using gloves to pull them out by the roots. But to no avail, they continued to multiply. Poured just a bit of the concentrated vinegar on all of them. If it was a bigger sow thistle I poured a bit more. I used it straight, but you can dilute it. But I was on a mission- leave no snow thistle alive. Well they are still popping up everywhere, but that was to be expected. Great price. Super effective! Safer than all the chemical weed killers. Easy to pour straight from the jug or make diluted batches with water. If you dilute there will be less vinegar smell that does tend to linger. But I didn’t mind. I will continue to buy this until no sow thistles remain! Oh! And you will see results fast! About 16 hours later they were wilted, a day or two later they were turning brown, within several days they were completely dead. It will kill your grass or other plants around - wherever the vinegar goes. But I would rather replant some grass than have hundred of sow thistles growing everywhere.

I was tired of buying outrageously expensive weed killer that is toxic. The neighbor suggested that I buy 30% or stronger vinegar and spray it on the weeds. When I first started spraying I was not wearing gloves or a mask and that was a big mistake. I went back and put on clothes that I was going to wash immediately, gloves, goggles, and a mask. You must wear gloves, goggles, and a mask or you will be breathing in something that is not good for you. The smell is very strong, but it works. Within a few days the weeds were dry and brown, and I was able to yank them out of the ground very easily.

This stuff is intense. You do not need much Mix with water. Does a great job on weeds in driveway Great cleaner too

I got this Vinegar to try out as a less toxic weed killer for my gravel driveway. I made a mixture of vinegar, water, salt and soap. Definitely killed the grass and weeds in no time. The area I sprayed has stayed grass and weed free for around a month now. I will be mixing a second batch for the next section. The vinegar smell does stick around for a few days. The price for two was better than at our local big box store.

It works well. I use this and another brand of agricultural vinegar (45%) for weed control. I dilute it with an equal volume of water. I didn't see a difference between the 2 products, despite this one being a higher concentration. It smells like very strong vinegar, and you should wear a mask and eye protection. Long sleeves and pants, too. I burned my arm with it yesterday. My fault for being impatient and not washing it off faster. You need to spray it on emerging weeds as it isn't going to kill the roots, just the leafy parts. Use it as soon as you see emerging life and the roots will eventually die. May take several applications. I'd definitely choose it again, depending on the price.

Scorched Earth! This stuff is highly effective for weed control. I sprayed this stuff with a mixture of dish detergent and coarse salt in a 1 gal spray tank. I sprayed this to control oak saplings, grass and weeds around our privacy fence and patio pavers. Wow! I started to see to results in about an hour and now about 5 days later, everything is about dried up or just plain gone. I haven't found anything more effective on oak saplings than this stuff. The current versions of round up imo, are a waste of money. Not sure how long the results will last but this came in a 2 bottle (1 gal ea) set, I didn't even have to use the 2nd bottle, so I'm ready for a second treatment when and if needed and thusly is a good value. This stuff is strong, I used and recommend eye protection, nose mask, and gloves and experienced no adverse effects. The smell dissipated in about 24 hours. No complaints from neighbors. Highly recommend for weed control, but recommend caution around wanted grasses and shrubs. R
