Mrs. Stewart's Concentrated Liquid Bluing - Great for Laundry - 8-ounce Bottle (Pack of 2)

Nothing beats this for whiteness. Thin out a few drops in an empty milk bottle first, give it a good shake and add to wet washing. Can't think of anything more easy or more effective. Came environmentally friendly packaged by really helpful courier. Best price on the internet too.

I use this in the sink after washing in a front loader machine. Important to get only a light blue colour of rinse water and not to put items near that until it’s the right shade. Only a very few drops needed but the hole drops out in a stream unless you hold it nearly upright. Too blue and it tints items. Whites take on a blue/white rather than yellowish hue which makes it look whiter.

I think this brightened my whites slightly but I'm not entirely sure. I will have to wait a few more rounds to see if it gets them sparkling. Probably best paired with a strong pre soak.

So sick of whites going dull and grey quickly - this has been a game changer. I had been searching for something to make whites properly white again, everything else Id tried had failed. You only need a few drops! My husband bought a new top which wasn’t as white as he liked, I pre soaked it in this before washing it, adding some to my machine wash and it’s starting to brighten. Imagine itvwill take a couple if washes. I also had a sloggi bra that was greying, having used this I can already see an improvement. Wish I’d fone before and after pics! My white bedding is gleaming like new, very happy!

I was looking at a way to save my white clothes and Rajiv’s blog came up and he used this product. Decided to buy it and give it a try. It does really work but you have to be patience and get used using it. I did play with some old t-shirts at first, just to get the concentration right.

Nothing special really. I guess I was expecting sparkling whites but tbh I’ve always had good results also from using a little bleach for white clothes. Usually gets me the same result. I’d prefer bleach tho, Bcos it does get rid of stains on whites whereas this doesn’t. Wish I could use both in the wash maybe it’ll be magnificent but it does say not to. Oh hell.
