Windscreen works
Good windscreen. Does the job for these micro sized mics. Simple to attach, and has stayed on through moderate movement, but have not tried to mic an athlete. Mic position is key because like anything covering the microphone, this can reduce input. Play around outside of your actual production recording to learn how you need to position the mic when using a windscreen to capture voice or ambient sound.

Great windscreen for recording fishing videos
I ordered this windscreen for my microphone and it works great. I have a fishing channel and record all my content outdoors and a windscreen was a must to record in the elements. Highly recommend!
