Very Surprised at the results of my testing
>>>> UPDATE: Further testing shows that the ear hooks keeping the door open causes the box and the ear buds to discharge very fast. So this is not going to work for me unless you keep the whole kit charging 24/7. There is no way to truly turn off the earbuds (the only way to keep them from draining power is to put them in the case and close the lid). This is a real bummer. >>>>> ORIGINAL REVIEW: My AirPods Pro don't stay in my ear all that well (it's common). And they also don't do a great job of fully sealing my ear canal (essential if you are trying to achieve proper in-ear isolation which provides better sound and full noise rejection. I tried all 3 sets of silicone tips that they came with and none of them really do the trick). My hope was that I could at least buy these "hooks" to prevent them from falling out constantly at least. If they performed that task well, then they would be worth keeping on and using. >>>>> Soooo.... not only did they install fairly quickly after some careful stretching, sliding around and rubbing to align all the "ports" in the exterior of the Airpod, but they did not increase the "bulk" or thickness by a lot. The stretchy silicone material is thin and very rubbery/sticky which helps the hook to stay firm and in place and keeping the "ports" free of blockage. Blocking the ports messes with the functions of your AirPods and I feared this silicone skin would do just that. So far very successful with fit and ability to remain in place! >>>>> The hook is actually pretty stout! It is soft enough to wear pain-free for hours, but doesn't deform easily, which is a major key in the function of this product. Moreover, the hook is now the perfect spot to hold and pick the AirPods from out of the charging case, and also out of my ear. No more fumbling and trying to use my nail to "fish" them out!!! PERFECT!!!! >>>>> One surprising result that I didn't expect was better isolation from noise entering my ear canal. This will probably vary from my ears to anybody elses, but my experience has been absolutely positive in that this product is helping the product stay fully in my ear with less fuzzing and touching. This better seal is letting me hear louder bass, and less noise when I enable the noise cancellation feature. They have turned a poorly fitting rubber tip from Apple into a usable tip (I was going to invest in foam tips but I might just save the money now, will wait and see) by creating this much more tight seal and a more pleasant experience all around. I know it sounds like I am exagerating here, but it is really exciting for me. I am still very suprised as to the positive effects of this "silicone skin". >>>>>> Of course, no good review only points out the positives. And this product brings with it one big negative, which most people have already dicussed but I have realized might not be enough of a problem for me to ditch using these silicone hooks. The problem is that the wireless charging case is a major part of the system/product that is the Airpods Pro. The hooks prevent proper/complete use of the case! And yes, to some people this could be a deal breaker... NOT FOR ME THOUGH: The AirPods *with the silicone hooks installed* still manage to charge while inserted in the case. The catch is that while they fit snugly in the left/right charging ports, the case's lid can't be shut fully. This is not a big problem for me as I don't really need to constantly charge the AirPods (I don't drain their battery all that quickly). If I need to charge them, I just keep the case with me and pop them in (with the lid open) when I have time. You can do this on your car even. And that's it as far as negatives for me right now. This affordable mod for my AirPods is cheap and simple enough to keep on and will provide me much more comfort/enjoyment due to the various improvements it has provided me with. I just wanted for my AirPods to stay in my ears... then somehow, I got much more than expected. Just remember, everyone's ears are different and my experience is very personal. Other people may see very different results. But at this price I think they are worth the potential risk.

Invaluable!
Amazon's AI warned that this is a "frequently returned item" and reading reviews exposed several reasons, including difficulty applying/removing & lining them up properly, knowing which one goes on which Airpod, and seemed/felt "flimsy." I hope my experience quells those fears... I originally bought these ear hooks 5 years ago and got the hang of putting 'em on & taking 'em off right away. It's really NOT that hard and takes only a few seconds. As long as you get the main speaker somewhat in place, they kind of adjust automatically and sit perfectly. And clearly, they DO last! My Airpods recently began failing (sound quality, volume, and now constant static in the left one) a few months ago and are nearly unusable now - after 5½ years of faithful service. I DO believe these ear hook covers contributed to the life of my Airpods because they WEREN'T falling out anymore. Despite my Airpods end of life - well beyond expectancy - these babies survived without fail or flaw. Cheerfully repurchased without heeding AI's advice, and I already know I won't experience a single regretful moment! They fit my new Airpods Pro 2 like snug little gloves, and these—together with the new Pro 2 design—allow me to hang upside down without threatening their lives! Funny afterthought: I had been using these ear hooks religiously the entire 5 years I had 'em. I only JUST found - about 2 months ago - that they ARE actually labeled "L" and "R" respectively! All ya gotta do is look - hopefully sooner than I did! (What's worse is that it's really rather obvious to me now 😆🤦🏼♀️) Until now, I just returned the right one to one side and left to the other side of the included case and knew which was which that way. And it takes a mere split second to recognize the wrong one when putting them on.

Totally Excellent At Keeping My AirPods In For A Long Workout
I was totally frustrated when one of my AirPods fell out the first time I used them while riding my bike. That feeling was nothing though, when I was taking pictures at a lake while hiking and one of the Pods fell out while I was standing still - right into a patch of poison ivy onto the other side of a fence. The first thing that I did after fishing my AirPod through the fence and out of the poison ivy was order these hooks on the Amazon app. It was an inexpensive and incredibly effective purchase! These things work absolutely great - I’ve worn my AirPods for over an hour while working out and while working outside. The headphones stayed in the entire time no matter what I was doing, and they were never uncomfortable. These get 4 stars instead of 5 only because the AirPods Pro case can’t close with these installed (an issue mentioned by many other reviewers, so it was not a surprise). I found that you can still charge the earbuds with the hooks installed, however, by simply leaving the lid open. This works if leaving them on the counter, but does cause the phones to keep reconnecting to your phone or other device if in your pocket (less of a problem if you store the whole kit in a coin pocket of your jeans). To avoid the closing issue, I just take the hooks off of the AirPods when not in use. Others have also complained that this practice is a big hassle, but I find that it only takes a couple seconds to remove them and just a few seconds more to reinstall them - not a big deal at all, IMO. All of that being said, I do highly recommend these AirPod hooks. For the price they cannot be beat.

Very secure solution for these otherwise excellent airpod pros
I love the sound and noise cancelation with the Airpod Pros, but was frustrated nearly to the point of returning them with the way they don't stay in my ears during times of physical work or exercise- I'd have to push them in several times during a session and sometimes they would fall out (and they can be hard to find because they are so small). But this solution (and to a lesser extent the over-ear ones) take care of the problem- My ears have particularly small canal openings and the two are not exactly the same, so this issue was more prevalent to me, no doubt, and I also wear glasses, which impact the outer ear. But with these ear hooks, I literally cannot get these to fall out now matter what! They are not perfect- It is definitely a bother to install them whenever you plan to use the Airpods, as the case doesn't close with them. A rubber band or velcro kinda works, but it's not an elegant solution to say the least. Since I have the smallest pads, the ear hooks easily go on and off without interfering. But you have to make sure you install them perfectly over the two ports on each Airpod, as the sensors needs to be completely clear for the noise cancelation to work. It gets easier over time. They seem very robust, although I appreciated getting 3 pairs just in case. The little lightweight case for the ear hooks is a nice touch. Until or unless Apple makes a version that includes something like this, these ear hooks remain the best option for anyone who is active and doesn't want to lose Airpods by their ever falling out. There is minor inconvenience involved, but to me it's worth it. They remain very comfortable as well.

Ez install and lawless fit but removal of tips is a deal breaker :(
Ok, so this is a tough one. Perfect solution but one huge drawback. PROS: The product does exactly what it says and is completely solves problem of the AirPods Pro falling out of my ear. I have used similar type solution for my original AirPods ever since released. For the ones with original Air Pods, I just keep the ear hooks in a little travel case along with the charging case. Put the on when needed, ez removal before placing in charge case. CONS: This is major and huge diff than above for using the ear hooks with AirPods Pro. Since the ear hooks must be removed to close charging case (altho will charge with top of case open) the problem is that I have not found a way to remove without having to remove the tips from the AirPods Pro (better put, they pop off every time the ear hooks are removed). Unless possible to easily remove the ear hooks without taking AirPods Pro tips off, this is a complete deal breaker because constant off/on/off/on for the AirPods Pro tips is not practical and the tips will eventual stop securely fitting. Yes, while its possible to maneuver and squeeze the tips like an inverted umbrella ... while removing the ear hooks ... that is not "easy-on/easy-off" to me. May be for others, I guess. To be fair, I am rating 3 of 5 stars, because they do a great job relating to what is advertised, but having to remove the tips every time is not practical for me.

Perfect!
I feel like my ears must be abnormally small because I have never (NEVER!!!!!) found a pair of earbuds that actually stayed in my ears. That includes the Apple AirPod Pros 😩 I saw a bunch of recommendations for foam tips that I was going to try once I worked up the nerve to actually buy them ($24+ for foam tips???) but I was having trouble talking myself into it. It was either that or return the AirPods though which I didn’t want to do because these babies are freakin amazing. These ear hooks came up as a suggestion and after reading a couple of reviews I decided to try them. They’re half the price of the foam tips and I could always return them if they didn’t work, right? Well let me just tell you, they work perfectly and I’m so relieved I can actually use my AirPods without the annoyance of waiting for them to fall out every couple of minutes! Because the hook fits into that little crease IN your ear and doesn’t hook around the back of your ear makes all the difference. These do not come out unless I’m pulling them out myself. Walking, running, sitting still or even laying down, these guys stay in my ears and I don’t have to deal with that annoying feeling of them slowly sliding out anymore. I can see why some people say it’s annoying that the AirPods don’t fit in the case with the ear hooks on but it’s only one extra step needed to take them off first and put them away and it’s worth it to be able to actually use and enjoy the AirPods. Plus, the package comes with a little holder for the ear hooks that you can attach to the case which makes it that much easier to slip them off and tuck them in and then pull them out when you need them again. Highly recommend!!

Work perfectly to keep my AirProds Pro snug in my tiny ears!
These little guys are the perfect solution to a very annoying problem--I have unusually small ears, and when I first got my AirPods Pro last week, I was very sad to realize they just won't stay in my ears, even with the smallest tips installed. They stay in for a minute or two, but then they slowly sneak out until they are barely balanced in my ears. To keep them in, I would constantly have to jam them back into my ears, which was not only annoying but also caused my ears to be sore after 30 min or so of use. I was considering returning the AirPods because it was so frustrating, but first I did some research and found these highly recommended hooks. I was skeptical that this small piece of rubber would be enough to fix the problem, but they work amazingly! They just fit into my tiny ears, and they keep my AirPods snugly fit into my ears without causing soreness. The noise cancellation feels 100% better with these guys on. They are very easy to put on and take off--it takes a few seconds for each AirPod. It's not ideal to put them on and take them off every time, but it's totally worth it since I would have returned the AirPods if I couldn't make them work. The little carrying case for the hooks works perfect since I can attach it to my AirPods case and always have them together. A nice bonus is that they include 3 pairs, so I can have extras for when I inevitably lose a couple. If you're looking for something to make your AirPods fit in tiny ears, this is your solution!

Airpod Pros still coming out? Yeah, me too.
TLDR; If you have problems with your airpods pro staying in your ears for exercise, or just existing in your ears. You should buy these or something like it. If you're like me and bought into the "These were designed to stay in your ears." bit and found out the hard way that you have 1 or both ears that still just don't work well for them. Like pavement or having to get on your hands and knees looking for one of them under a dirty, dusty desk? Oh and that they've got nice little craters showing that they've fallen on the ground a few times, too. These actually worked and worked surprisingly well, too. My left ear is notorious for not accepting ear buds of any make. It's so bad I've basically decided that I'm going to wear large full-cup headphones for the rest of my life. What changed for these? A combination of 1) A lot of reviewers stating these will stay in your ears better. 2) Forgetting to send them back for a refund 3) Laziness. I don't want to sell them for half off because they've been marred by collisions. I already purchased a "Power beatspro" because I really liked the freedom of not having massive headphones fall off my head while I'm on the bench, or working out... and full sized headphones get hot and sweaty, take up a lot of space and have some heft to it. The Power Beatspro get painful to wear after 2ish hours. Airpods Pro with the hooks don't get uncomfortable/painful to wear for hours on end, unlike the Powerbeats Pro. They stay in my ears (They RESIST earbuds). Like cement. No movement during up/down movements at work, or while working out, or running. You need to carry the included case with them, they don't fit in the airpods case. They make your expensive buds not fall out. Cheap. So if you don't like them it's not too big of a loss. Installation is relatively simple. you slide it on and wiggle it in place. the hooks have labels for R and L which make it easier to install. It does take a moment and is a minor inconvenience. But it's worth the inconvenience for me. I love using my airpods pro now.
