The original urine dip sticks and from a reputable manufacturer gives me confidence in the results. However, you do need to know the limitations of each test to get maximum benefit. The instructions and background notes are easy and understandable. Note: these, like almost all dip sticks are designed for HUMANS with fairly normal urine. That means the urine is around the pH neutral level and it isn't either very dilute or concentrated. Urine colour must be the normal light- to mid- yellow because each pad is a chemical reaction that changes colour and if you have pink or red urine then that messes it all up. For pink or red coloured urine do not interpret the results...take a sample to a GP or laboratory and they can go "yuk" in a more professional manner. Accuracy: very good: pH, glucose, ketone, nitrite (infection), protein (humans and dogs, not cats) Accuracy: good enough: bilirubin (liver); urobilogen ("kidneys"), Accuracy: not reliable: concentration of urine Be aware that in cats there is always a trace of protein so don't get alarmed. If more than that then ask your vet and don't read the concentration result either. I get consistent results from several test strips which gives me confidence.

Great buy and they seem accurate. I have bought other makes but I prefer these as I know they give a good result.

Very accurate stix used by doctors in surgery to detect early urine infection or just the.presence of blood which one.cannot see with naked eyes before things get any worse. Its good quality and easy to use. I would say its worth every penny .

The expiry date was too short., 31.10.25. I only use these testing sticks once a month! For the price it is unacceptable. I had to use them, because I needed to test my urine. So unable to return them. They are a very good testing strip, but not good that the expiry date is so short.

My usual choice of urine testing strips. I ordered at a few pounds cheaper, But they came with Just 6 months use by date! Not great!

Have been using these for years. They are consistent and reliable and the same that my GP uses (or used to use). If you take a sample after the shower, it’s easier to get a clean catch.
