I've had this less than a week. Will come back for an update after a month or so
Edit: This computer is pretty nice. I love almost everything about this. I have downloaded more mods and cc for my sims play and it seems to be doing the job. It lags at times but that could be the sims itself, I'm not sure. The downfall of this computer is the heat. It gets so bloody hot. I have this on a flat surface at all times, never fabric or anything of the sort. This is without even gaming on it. It's hot when I turn it on. I have to keep my hand a good distance from it because it almost hurts! I have adjusted my fans (which is a great option) but still very hot. I would recommend this computer to other people, but I will also warm them about the temperature of this computer. Overall, I think it has really great specs and A LOT of memory. It works for me, and I am happy about that. I am just trying to avoid getting second degree burns when I play it. This is a third day review- Delivery went fine, package came in good condition and nothing was broken. Set up took a while but that is to be expected. The performance is great! I am a Sims 4 player, and I am able to power on and get into the game in less than three minutes. I have a couple mods on my computer, not too many and it seems to run fine. I have noticed a little bit of lag at times. Could be the internet connection, I'm not really sure. I purchased the 64Gb, 1Tb Ryzen 7. I am happy I didn't purchase anything less as I don't think it would be able to keep up with what I need. BATTERY- Battery life is not as good as I thought it would be. It lasts about 30 minutes off the cord while playing sims. The box on the cord gets extremely hot as well. SOUND- Sound is great, nothing I would change. DESIGN- Great design for a gaming laptop, I've heard many good things about the Asus on tik tok being great for Sims 4 play. FANS- The fans definitely work, as they usually run with most of my game play. This computer runs pretty hot! Hotter than I expected it to. It gets pretty hot on the bottom and the sides. My hand gets pretty warm from the heat where I use my mouse, so I'm not a big fan of that. VISUAL- Visual is great. 144HZ OVERALL- Overall, not a bad computer. I would probably recommend this to other people. Sims runs fine, which is the main reason I bought this computer. It takes up a lot of space and this computer has plenty of it. I haven't messed with the game performance options yet but there is the option to do so, which is another plus.

A Gaming Beast in a Tough Shell: My Experience with the ASUS TUF A15
I've been using the ASUS TUF A15 Gaming Laptop as my main gaming machine, and I’ve been seriously impressed. The AMD Ryzen 7 7435HS handles everything I throw at it, from AAA titles to multitasking with multiple apps open. With 32GB of RAM, I never worry about lag, even when streaming and gaming simultaneously. The 1TB SSD makes load times almost non-existent, and there’s still room to expand if I need more storage. The 15.6-inch Full HD screen is crisp and super smooth, especially with Adaptive-Sync keeping gameplay tear-free. The RTX 3050 GPU runs most of my games at high settings with great frame rates and solid performance. I also appreciate how cool and quiet the laptop stays, even during long gaming sessions, thanks to its good cooling system. The backlit keyboard is perfect for gaming in low light, and it feels solid and responsive. Windows 11 runs flawlessly, and Wi-Fi performance is stable and fast. Overall, this laptop has become my reliable gaming companion, and I couldn’t be happier with the performance for the price.

Did the seller switch out the SSD?
Bought in February 2025. Laptop ran fine for a bit, but would always act funny when trying to get it out of sleep mode so I always had to do a full shut down. Forgot one night (Aug 28) and left it in sleep mode over night. Went to turn it on the next morning and it wouldn't boot up. Sent to Asus to get repaired and they're telling me it has a 3rd party ssd installed in it? I haven't messed with the hardware at all, never had a reason to even take the bottom off and look in it. Which can only mean it was changed before being sent to me. I don't know if they're going to honor the warranty because of this and I'm so frustrated. I'll come back and update once it's figured out. Update 1: Asus is not honoring the warranty and charging me $100 to replace the 2T SSD with a 512G SSD. This seller is beating around the bush and taking forever to get back to me with answers on what can be done about this. It's obviously months out of the amazon 30 day return period, but as much as I hate this sentence coming from me, some sort of compensation needs to happen coming from the seller sending people laptops out of warranty while promoting a 1 year manufacturers warranty in the product information.

Great purchase
Runs fast and smooth. Stays cool. I bought it to have BG3 and Sims 4 on the same system. Runs with MODS and all expansion packs. They are both huge games and work perfectly. Still room left for more. Battery life is next to nothing so just keep it plugged in while you play.

Great laptop for the price
Build quality is excellent, screen is very crisp, battery life is not great but that’s basically expected with a gaming laptop with a dedicated GPU. Honestly, it’s 4 out of 5 stars because McAfee comes pre installed which is essentially bloatware, so make sure to uninstall that the moment you get it. Otherwise, great laptop that seems like it’s worth its value. Noise level is okay, it’s audible from the fans but not enough to disturb. Weight is good, not the heaviest laptop but seems to show its build quality with the weight.

Great for photoshop and video editing!
Had this laptop for just a few days and absolutely loving it so far. The graphics are amazing especially compared to my old model HP laptop. I needed an upgraded laptop specifically to run photoshop and premiere pro, as my job had expanded into more technical editing. I do keep my tabs at a minimum, I also do a lot with excel/web browser as well on top of editing. The quality of the laptop is overall great, touch pad is responsive. Easy to use, and weighs about the same as your average laptop! Without spending an arm and a leg, this laptop is perfect for my needs.
