Very much disliked the taste and that was an expensive mistake!

The" ZYN Electrolytes Powder Hydration Packets with Vitamins, Zinc Turmeric Curcumin for Gut Health ..." has kind of a unique tart fruit punch flavor but better. I'm not normally a fruit punch type of person but I do like this. I like that these are in individual packages as one can take them on the go and easily pour one into 16-20oz water. They would be good for those who like to carry some in the car, their bag or lunchbox etc. I am a fan of turmeric and use it a lot and that is part of what drew me to the product. The other was Dragon Fruit as that is kind of a mystery to me as I don't have much experience with it or have it available in my rural area. I had a family friend in mind when I ordered these as his Dr said he needs to increase his sodium level but he does not usually like the taste of salty foods. I am generally very low sodium so this is quite different than I am used to. I received this product in October 2023 and the Best By date is 08/24. The BB date is on the individual packs so those who keep some in their purse or car will know when they are best. I appreciate that the nutrition facts are on the listing, the bag and the individual packets.

Overall: 4 (above average) - This flavor is probably not for everyone, but I really like it. It would rate 5 stars from me if they would verify that they are cGMP and 3rd party tested. Individual Ratings: INGREDIENTS: excellent - Contains Curcumin (Turmeric), Piperine, electrolytes, and Vitamins C, D, and Zinc. QUALITY: above average - Certified B Corp. No indication of cGMP, country of manufacture, or 3rd party testing. USAGE: above average - 16 individual packets. Mixes easily with a frother, tastes great (YMMV). If price is a concern, they do offer some of their flavors in a more economical 32 pack. Note: Supplements are regulated like foods by the FDA, and claims regarding efficacy often aren't backed by science. So I don't review supplements based on those claims, and instead rate them based primarily on ingredients and quality. Prices can fluctuate so I leave it to the reader to determine value for themselves.

Electrolytes tends to taste better with lots of ice. However, it does leave an artificial sweetener aftertaste. It's only 10 calories/packet so better than soda with ingredients that will help w/ inflammation such as (turmeric/curcumin and vitamin C & D. . The taste is sweet, color is like bright blood orange (due to turmeric). However, the taste is nothing like turmeric since it's buried by the sweetener and blackberry flavor but I don't taste dragon fruit. . This is a good alternative for camping or to have to your car to add water for a sugary drink anytime w/ less calories than soda.
