A quality product
I have had access to several similar looking dressings that were used on me, and I thought that this would be the same type of product, However, when I got it, I was surprised to find out that it did not have an adhesive strip to hold it in place around the outside. That obviously was my mistake, but if I Ever need to use it along with a bandage to hold it in place I’m positive. It will do a great job.

Good for the price
These are not high-end dressings, but for the price they are food for many purposes. I would compare them to allevyn dressings, but a little lower quality. In the summers I am a camp nurse and these are perfect for that job. I don’t think they’d be adequate for an oozing ulcer.

Review from an actual user of them.
I have some wounds that have a decent amount of drainage.. I have used many different types of bandages, from allevyn, to allevyn life, to bandages like this that were $10 each (not a box, but for a single bandage), to even ABD pads.. So this is in comparison to all of these..The good.. These are not really expensive, and do have a lot of absorption capabilities.. When you first get them, they feel kind of thin, and you can feel a foam insert in there.. and at first, that is exactly what I though that these were.. Just foam.. But then after using them, I have found that these are probably about as absorbent as in the middle, between an allevyn gentle and an allevyn life foam bandage. But these are cheaper than both of them at the current price of $12 for 10..When you first cut them open, it looks like there is just foam in there.. But as soon as you get the foam wet, it starts to bubble up with this layer off beads under it, that absorb and lock away the moisture.. These beads do not show until they do get some moisture in them.. As you can see by the pictures, in some areas, you see little beads.. Other areas it just looks like foam or layers of cotton.. But as soon as you get it wet, that is when you see the magic of those little beads go to work, and expand..The 2 similar pictures are of the first one after I used it for a few hours.. The second one, which was cut in half, and then one half into half again, after which time I put some water on it to see how it would absorb.. I found that it absorbed the moisture, and had it locked away in those little absorption balls within about 1 minute.. That is pretty fast.. I usually put ABD pads on this wound, and overnight, they are usually damp all the way thought.. But that was not the case using these.. Much better than ABD pads.. I just wish it was closer to the price of using them..One side note.. When I say something about using ABD pads, I talk about most standard ABD pads.. Not the covedien brand ones.. I have used some of their Dermacea ABD pads, and found that they were only half as good as the other brands that I have tried.. When I say half as good, I mean it literally.. They only have half of the filling as other brands, but are made of the same materials.. I found this out by actually weighing them (after using them and found that I had to use twice as many of them as my normal brand) with no wrapping.. 12 other brands weighed 4.4 ounces.. 12 covidien ones weighed 2.4 ounces. My purpose into saying this is.. Results will greatly vary and if you are using the covedien brand then used these, you will see a much bigger difference then other brands.. So when I say the ABD pad was just damp in 12 hours, if it was the covidien, it would not have been damp, but completely soaked through, and then some with the covidien brand ones.. And these kept me drier than the better other brand ones. I wanted to clarify this so you know the difference and results will vary more with that brand..In any case, these were better to use then the ABD pads that I use.. And are thinner. The only downfall to these is that they are more expensive and that you need to use some tape to hold them in place, and for that, I recommend using some kind of a retention tape.. Some retention tapes wills say "elastic" on them.. Those usually are not actually elastic, but are made in Europe, and for some reason, they use the term elastic over there, even though they do not actually pull back into shape.. They just stretch.. But that tape is better then any other type of tape, which includes paper, plastic, cloth, etc, that I have ever used.. Some surgical tapes are also similar too. I have had 50/50 in good and bad experiences with them, depending on the brand.

Decently thick and comfortable
- Made in China- Sterile EO- Expiry 8 2025- Individually sealed, of courseThis is a good thickness for absorbency. About 7/10, I'd say.Good sticky around the edges but less than .5" wide. Plenty sticky but a little tricky to get a good seal during application.Good soft bandage, as comfortable as it can be.Cover is a bright blue, if you care.

Super nice
I like having an extensive first aid kit on hand. This is a great addition. These pads are super absorbent. They work really well! They are good for knees and other large wounded areas.

You’ll be glad you have these if you need them.
Wounds, especially large ones like pressure and diabetic ulcers etc. produce a lot of moisture, which makes them very difficult to dry up and scab and heal. That is why this kind of bandage is so helpful. It has the ability to absorb an impressive 20% amount of seepage. A wet wound is when this product would be especially helpful and what it is made for. These are non-adhesive. That’s good because it allows you to control how you will need to secure them without compromising the wound itself by pulling the skin surrounding the healing sore. The color is finebecause something requiring a bandage this size would never be inconspicuous anyway. These have the ability to contain the moisture so it does not get on clothing or sheets. It’s the kind of product you hope you won’t need but will be glad you have it when you do.

Does not absorb much!
Easy to use, but doesn’t absorb very much. After a short while, it starts to leak. I use another brand and it works much, much better!
