Why pay more for Apple or Samsung?
The Nothing 3a is a big phone that has a big all day battery (never got it under 40% in a day). The display is great, and the under screen fingerprint reader works perfectly. The phone comes with a screen protector already fitted, a SIM tool and a cable but no charger. It's really snappy and fast to use. The Nothing OS launcher on top of Android has many neat tricks, features and widgets, plus their own design aesthetic that carries over in to the handset itself. The glyph lights on the back are a bit gimmicky but you can make them do a few useful things. The camera is as good as pretty much any for most pictures and has some nice features like the ability to import your own filters. One thing in particular I've noticed too is the quality of calls over WiFi - really good. This is quite a bargain, especially when stacked up against big name competitors at a similar price. It is large but easy to get used to.

Stunning for the price.
Absolute bargain. Great screen, great cameras, battery life easily over a day and I'm a heavy user, self employed, spending many hours per day on the phone. Responsive, looks great and for once, the UI is so good that I didn't install nova. Excellent phone, don't get that pixel you're looking at! I wouldn't have been disappointed with it if I'd spent anything up to £500.

Great phone.
Purchased to replace a nothing phone 1 as the security updates were ending. Excellent display, long battery life, very customisable without the need to download things from Google play, good amount of storage and feels and looks really nice. If you don't want to be like most other people and own a Samsung this is a very good alternative. I was lucky and saved almost 100 pounds as it was on offer and cheaper than the 3a non pro version. If not on offer l would not have spent the extra to get a better camera , and been just as happy with the 3a version.

Great Mid Range Device for the money!
Always been an Apple Fanboy with one leg in the Android pool.Usually Pixel or One Plus phones of which I have had every variant, so on the search for a different experience and came across the Nothing phones. They have some pedigree given the CEO is formerly One Plus and OPPO heritage so decided to give them a try. The 3a Pro is a unique looking device with internals on display through the clear glass back and a design that Jony I've would be proud of. Display is sharp and spacious at 6.77" 12GB RAM and 256 GB storage is more than enough. The processor is not the latest or fastest but more than capable. Large battery, great camera and interesting OS. This is a great mid range device which offers a polished Android experience with the unique glyph interface adding to the experience. Don't expect flagshp, it's not trying to be one . It's just a very capable phone for less than £500 and does the job admirably.

Fantastic bit of kit
I rarely review items, but this phone has surpassed my expectations. I'm coming from a OnePlus 7t Pro which was top of the line 6 years ago, but now a geriatric case needing lunchtime and evening top-up charges just to make it through the day. The Nothing 3a is a breath of fresh air. I use my phone, a lot. I work in IT so it's constantly on the go. I'm currently on 33% battery and last charged 36hrs ago. Camera is great, phone is quick, and easy to use. Knockout feature for me is the essential space app, I took a picture of some handwritten notes, it transcribed and summarised them, then added appointment to my calendar. It's a massive timesaver. Downside is now my wife wants one.

Brilliant phone.
This is actually the best phone I've ever had. The only phone I've not owned is an iPhone so that says a lot. It has the best camera I've ever seen on a phone. You can do so much with it and it seems really advanced. Love the futuristic design. Cant believe it's low cost. You won't be disappointed.

Batter management, built quality, vanilla Android experience
I changed my nearly new Moto phone out of desperation, as the battery management was a disaster. After extensive research, I decided to consider Nothing phones. I am absolutely delighted with my phone. The build quality is excellent, with a look and feel akin to an iPhone (but at a fraction of the price). As for battery management, I charge it every other day or so (I am not a gamer, so my demand is fairly low), which is remarkable. I could probably stretch it to two days, but following the appalling experience with Moto, I am overly cautious. The functionalities are similar to those of all Android phones, apart from a couple of apps like Glyph and Essential Spaces, and the ability to record using a side button—though I don't utilise this feature very much. Another advantage is the excellent fingerprint recognition. All in all, it’s an outstanding smartphone that exudes quality and offers exceptional value for money, of course.

Nothing Phone (3a) – This Thing’s a Vibe
Okay, so I’ve been using the Nothing Phone 3a for a bit now and… yeah, I’m really liking it. It’s one of those phones that just feels different—in a good way. Looks First, Because Damn Let’s be real—the design is what pulls you in. That transparent back with the LED Glyph lights? Super slick. It actually makes me want to put the phone face-down just so people can see it. Nothing else looks like this, especially in this price range. The Screen’s a Win The display is buttery smooth at 120Hz, super bright, and colors pop. Whether I’m watching videos, gaming, or just scrolling around, it looks and feels premium. Performance = Solid Day-to-day stuff? No lag. Games? Runs them just fine. Apps open quick, multitasking’s smooth, and Nothing OS is super clean—no junk, no weird UI stuff, just clean Android the way it should be. Cameras Get the Job Done The main camera is sharp, and photos look nice straight out of the phone—especially in good lighting. Night shots are decent too. It’s not going to beat a top-end flagship, but for this price? I’ve got no complaints. Battery Life & Charging = Clutch Battery life is actually really good—it easily lasts a full day, and the fast charging is a lifesaver. 50% in under 20 minutes? Yes please. What Could Be Better? No wireless charging, no headphone jack. Not dealbreakers for me, but worth knowing. Also, the cameras could use a little boost in low light or with detail—just being picky. Final Thoughts Honestly? The Nothing Phone 3a is fun. It’s different, it works great, and it doesn’t cost a fortune. If you want something unique that still performs like a champ, this is a solid pick. I’m actually excited to use this every day—and that’s not something I say often about phones.
