This one is my first curling automatic and it was so easy to use and the curls are beautiful and last more than 5 hours even though it looses a little bit the shape is beautiful. Highly recommended. This is a keep item for sure at a great price. No freeze at all.

The curling iron does take a moment to get the hang of the auto turn; but it is beyond amazing once you do! We live on a SUPER HUMID island & normally when I curl my hair and step outside it immediately drops the curl and frizzes. Not only did it stay curled (pics are the next day AND after brushing the curls!) but it’s shiny & not frizzy like normal here! The auto turn feature is really incredible if you struggle to hold a curling iron up and turn it over and over but I have very long hair; I was concerned about the ability to wrap my hair in the barrel. It worked perfectly! The curling iron times it so when you stop turning it, it then times the curl and beeps to tell you it’s done. Stop waiting & buy it now! Especially if you have long hair or live in a humid environment!

Update: I’ve had this for awhile now and still love it! I used it he Sea Salt spray before curling now and it works great! Original post: I have only used this 3 times BUT I love it more each time. I purchased this because I needed something hot, fast and easy to use. I purchased the pink Wand from Remington 1-1.5” first. It was my first wand and I did not enjoy it. Some say it’s user error. Well, it definitely wasn’t for me, user error or not! Someone said they preferred this one! So I bought it on a whim. I read some reviews and some negative ones say it doesn’t grab the hair right enough or at all. I did run into this issue when I didn’t do it right (again, I’ve only used it 3 times). If I redid it, usually it grabs on the 2nd try. I never do my hair and I’m bad at it. I am so very busy so I was excited that it’s fast. It took me 20 mins the first time. The 2nd time, I parted my hair differently and it took 10 mins. The 3rd time it took less than that! So overall I spent 10 it less minutes! LOVE that it heats up fast! LOVE that it beeps when it’s ready! LOVE that it’s HOT (420) LOVE that it beeps when it’s done after you stop pressing the automatic turn button OH! And LOVE that it’s automatic! Perfect for busy lazy people like me! I’ve already convinced a friend to buy one at work. Let me also say I got TONS of compliments on my hair the 2 days I went to work with it curled. My hair never held a curl before but the combo of hair products and this easy breezy curler made it easy. I’m a fan!

The Good, The Bad, The Ugly I have found the next best thing! It it such a time saver! I am in love and I don't care who knows! But...like all true loves...they have their flaws! The Kiss Products Instawave Automatic Hair Curler, curls your hair so fast and nice it has to be seen to be believed. After the first time I used it I sounded like an infomercial because I loved it so much. However, there are a few flaws you should be aware of before using this product. The Good I get the perfect curl in less than 10 minutes! I have long thick hair and curling my hair usually takes me a really long time and I am always getting my fingers burnt trying to twirl the curling iron...I know, I know...I'm a blonde and you'd think I'd learn not to burn myself! This curling iron twirls it and counts the time it's in your hair giving you a consistent look throughout your hair. The Bad It only works on longer hair. If you have shorter hair it won't pick it up in the twirling device. The Ugly No matter how fast this thing goes you cannot be lazy! If you are trying to do it all at once or with thick strands of hair you are not going to be happy with the results. If you rush through it and you don't put your hair back into sections it can and will pick up any hair in its path. This can cause your hair to tangle and quite possibly burn if you can't get it out quick enough. How to use the Kiss Products Instawave Automatic Hair Curler The video that they give on Amazon gives a perfect example of how to use this product. Section off your hair by clipping the top part up and away. Take a small section of hair (about an inch thick...do not try to do more than that or you won't get the curl you want and you risk getting it caught in your hair!) and place it in front of the iron. Push the left arrow and let it curl your hair until it reaches the ends of your hair. It will beep after 10 seconds. Pull the iron straight down and viola! Perfect curl! You can also put the hair strand in the back of the curler and push the arrow to the right. Just make sure the ones that are in front of your face is curled with the hair in the front of the iron for the best look. After you have curled all of the hair on the bottom section, pin it back so it doesn't mix with the top half. (This is not only important for keeping the curled section separate, but also for keeping your hair from getting caught in the iron.)
