Amazing watch
UPDATE: I know this isn’t a huge deal but the watch is fast a couple of seconds. I’ve had it less than a month and it’s not at the same level of my other Citizen. Not enough to return the watch but still a little annoying. This is my second watch by Citizen, my first being a Promaster Diver. I love this watch for a variety of reasons. First of all, I love the Eco-drive feature as I will never have to worry about my watch dying on me and changing batteries. It came uncharged right out of the box but started up within seconds (it did the 2-second tick). The watch itself is very nice looking and is not flashy. I like the black finish on the case and the matching finish on the buckle. Something else that I really liked was the tan (beige?) numbers and markings. It really gave it a vintage feel in my opinion. As for the strap, I read a lot of people were having issues with it being short. It fits my wrist with two holes left over so it fits but I wish it was a little longer so I could put the extra band through the loops. I am not a huge fan of canvas but this one feels nice and isn't itchy. The band is a bit stiff but I'm hoping it will soften up as it gets worn. Since the numbers aren't flush to the rim of the case (there is a bezel), the watch wears smaller than 43mm. I appreciate this as I was worried that it would look oversized on my wrist. Additionally, some people mentioned that the second hand wasn't lining up correctly with the markings. I didn't have this issue at all. A leaflet came in the box telling me how to register it and how to set the time/date. Overall, I would highly recommend this watch. I got this watch for $140 in April 2020.

It took a new band to make it 5 stars.
I purchased this watch back in 2020, but did not wear it much, mostly because I did not like the canvas band it came with. So the watch just lay there, until one day I noticed it again on Amazon, so I put it back on, but again that band. I was reading a review of a watch, maybe this one, and the writer had switched his band, and found love again with his watch. I ordered a new Barton silicone band, after reading reviews of Barton products, and never looked back. I wear this watch every day, heck I sleep in with it on. Its a bit hefty, but that lets you know its quality old school, with big analog hands. I can tell you its durable, water proof for me so far, and large enough to see, My one drawback would be that I wish the hands were more luminous and visible at night or in the dark. Love no batteries to replace.

Great looking, painful to wear
I love Citizen watches. They have given me good quality and consistency through a lot of hard wear and use outside. Bonus, I never have to change the battery. I've had my eye on this one for quite a few years. I dont recall when I first saw it, but it was around 2016. It arrived Saturday, the box was damaged. It had pretty clearly been opened before, the watch had a home once already. But it looked good and undamaged and started working immediately. The first negative I noticed is that the watch band is laughably narrow. It looks like they swapped bands with a woman's watch. Fine if thats your thing, but I really did not care for tge proportions. The next thing I noticed is how thick and stiff the band is. I dont know how many layers of Cordura they sewed together, but it is puffy in the middle, which is odd geometry to put on a watch band because you create pressure points on the wrist. The band sucks. It is ugly because it is so narrow, it is very difficult to manipulate because it is so stiff, and it is incredibly uncomfortable. Both my previous citizens also got low marks for band quality, so its not really a deal breaker for me, but boy is it ever irritating to spend $180 on a watch that you can't wear out of the box. For the price of a good looking replacement band, I could have just gotten a Timex. My solution was to make a crude frog that slips under the band. It takes the pressure off my skin, and it makes the band appear thicker. I'm not kidding when I say, if you buy this watch, buy a new band at the same time.

Solid Field Watch
You can't go wrong with this watch. I picked it up on sale for $139.99. For that price, it's hard to complain about anything really... But I'll say the good and bad below. The fit and finish of the watch is great. The hands and numbers are big and very easy to read. The small dials also display very useful info and are well laid out. The watch is sharp looking and is just the right size. The SS bezel adds durability. The band - just go ahead and order a replacement ahead of time. Note that this watch takes a 20mm, not 19mm. The band looks kinda cool, but is too tacticool IMO. It's also a bit scratchy and is difficult to take on and off. For $20, the Barton Silicone bands are hard to beat. I went with smoke grey. My only other complaint are the glowing hands. Owning a Luminox in the past, I was hoping they'd be a bit brighter. They get the job done, but if the room isn't completely black, you'll have trouble seeing the hands glow. They also seem to glow brighter when the watch is fully charged from some sunlight. Not a deal breaker, but you're not going to grt Luminox brightness in the dark. All in all, great watch for the money. I'll update back if I have issues.

Another great watch from Citizen. Could use a better band.
I haven't exactly tested the watch's water resistance(hence why I couldn't give it full stars). The watch face is beautiful. It keeps time extremely well. And it is an Eco-Drive so it keeps charged without much intervention on my part. The biggest issue is the wristband. I have fairly narrow wrist(mostly skin, bones, and tendons) for a guy that is 6'1"; however, I can only wear the band on the first or second hole out of 8. I'm not sure who they think will wear this(especially on hole 8) other than children. The band is fabric so it does stretch and contract some, but even after stretching I've only ever gotten it to hole 3 and then it was so tight it threatened my circulation. While I've kept the band, I debate changing it for another. If you have larger wrist, you will certainly need a new band with this.

思ったよりバンドが短い 暗くなるとほぼ時刻が判らなくなる 使用感はこれからさらに時間をかけてかな

別の腕時計を購入した方が所有欲を満たせると思います。 15000円くらいまでなら何とか許容できる価格かな?
