This camera is packed with features that make it easy to capture stunning photos and videos
If you're in the market for a high-quality point-and-shoot camera that delivers exceptional image quality, the Canon Cameras US Point and Shoot Digital Camera with 3.0" LCD is an excellent option. This camera is packed with features that make it easy to capture stunning photos and videos, whether you're a professional photographer or a hobbyist. One of the standout features of this camera is its 40x optical zoom, which is accompanied by an optical image stabilizer and zoom framing assist. This means that you can get up close and personal with your subject matter, without worrying about camera shake or blurriness. The zoom framing assist is particularly helpful, as it helps you to keep your subject centered in the frame, even when you're zooming in or out. Another great feature of the Canon Cameras US Point and Shoot Digital Camera is its ability to shoot 4K video and 4K time-lapse movies. This means that you can capture stunning footage in incredibly high resolution, which is perfect for creating high-quality videos or time-lapse sequences. In addition to its impressive video capabilities, this camera also features a 20.3 Megapixel CMOS sensor, which delivers sharp, detailed images with accurate color reproduction. This is particularly useful when shooting in low light conditions, as the sensor is able to capture more light than other cameras in its class. Finally, the Canon Cameras US Point and Shoot Digital Camera is also equipped with high-speed continuous shooting, which allows you to capture fast-moving action with ease. Whether you're photographing sports, wildlife, or other fast-paced subjects, this feature ensures that you never miss a moment. Overall, the Canon Cameras US Point and Shoot Digital Camera with 3.0" LCD is an excellent choice for anyone who wants a high-quality camera that delivers exceptional image quality, impressive video capabilities, and a range of advanced features. Highly recommended!

You can trust this seller!
I was super nervous buying from a third party but it delivered perfectly! The camera came with a wrist strap, battery, and a charger. The quality of the camera is AMAZING! It’s simply incredible. I would 100% recommend buying from this seller.

Excellent camera for birdwatching, understanding its inherent limitations
I am beginning birder, and chose this camera for its long zoom (960 mm 35 mm equivalent) and its compact size. I did not want the expense, weight, and bulk of an interchangeable lens camera, or of a "bridge" camera. Because the SX740's small size and light weight, it's been easy to switch from binoculars to the camera to take pictures. (I "wear" it on my wrist with a strap.) I have had the SX 740 for about two months, and have taken about 30,000 pictures with it. I am very satisfied with the camera, and would buy it again. At long distances in reasonable light, the camera at highest zoom can take images of small birds that are acceptable enough to help me identify them. Images of larger birds at closer distances are great (see photos). I use Program mode, with spot focusing, auto ISO, and servo AF (continuous focus). The SX740 uses the same battery (NB-13L) as my Canon G7X. As a bonus, the battery lasts significantly longer in the SX740 - most times I can go two hours taking lots of pictures without battery change. Having said the above, potential purchasers should understand that this kind of camera has inherent limitations. Overall, pictures taken at high zoom will not be as sharp as those taken with a quality interchangeable lens camera. By strict eBird picture quality criteria, photos I take (usually at high zoom) are in the 1-4/5 star range, average high two's - still generally acceptable for upload to eBird. People should not expect that every high zoom picture will be good. I take multiple continuous pictures by holding the shutter down, and I can usually get at least one good picture that way. The SX740 does not have a viewfinder - the LCD screen, even at the highest brightness setting, can be hard to see in bright daylight. Finding a small bird in the bushes on the screen can also be difficult - the Framing Assist (zoom out) button can be helpful in this situation, but not always.

Don’t recommend
Takes great photos when working. The camera completely stopped working on me and won’t turn on or off and lens is stuck open. Not supported in the US either so now I have to pay for the repair out of pocket. Did research on the seller and found they were not giving refunds back when other people were having issues. No phone number or way to contact the seller. Very unhappy

Decent Camera. Lots of Features. Bit of a Learning Curve.
I bought this camera for my wife. I would have preferred an entry level SLR, but I wanted something compact and easy so she would enjoy it too. This is a fine camera, and I did a lot of side by side comparisons with my iPhone 11. In low light conditions like sunrise and sunsets my iPhone was the clear winner in color richness and clarity. In daylight they we’re close. Both have excellent picture clarity. Where the Canon was clearly superior is zoom capability. There was no contest. When taking video on max zoom it was hard to hold steady, but when zoomed back in about half way, the image stabilization kicks in and is superb. The WiFi and internet features on the camera are spotty at times but adequate. I think the iPhone edges out the Canon for online ease and convenience, but it’s still a nice feature. One disappointment was when I tried to photograph a double rainbow over the ocean, the Canon wouldn’t zoom back quite far enough to capture it from end to end. My iPhone had no problem. Wide angle wins on the iPhone 11. The flip screen is great for selfies. Easy to see in most outdoor lighting conditions. There are a lot of features packed into the Canon SX740, hence the learning curve. A touch screen would have been a nice extra addition for $400. All in all this is a great little camera and was what made me switch over from Nikon. I do think you will enjoy it as a true stand alone still and video camera.

This is a best point and shoot, pocket friendly camera for beginners. Good photo quality, handy, zoom. Even the video quality is quite good. Photos can be transferred to your phone quickly via WiFi. Low light photos was a disadvantage alog with it's cost.

great little camera with a super zoom. I own a full sized camera with 5 heavy lenses. Carry it for miles, and don't always get a shot. The little Canon just slips in my pocket, and travels many more places. It's better than my phone.

Fantastic little camera. Have only just been playing around with it and I’m impressed by its quality and the quality of the photographs. The zoom is incredible and is stable also. All of these photos were taken without a tripod and most in low light condition. The WiFi transit / remote feature is nice too once Setup
