Soft and Luxurious 300TC Sateen White Down Alternative Duvet Insert, Queen

The last down comforter I bought said it was for a King size bed but when I got it turned out to be barely big enough for a Queen. The tiny feathers poking through everywhere were also extremely frustrating. So, I thought I'd give this down alternative a try. I looked all over for one I thought would be big enough for our king size bed, and hoped this one would be it. I was not disappointed! When it arrived, the box was a bit beat up but the comforter was inside a plastic bag and it was fine. I pulled it out, fluffed it up on the bed and it lay perfect! No funky smell, no feathers poking out anywhere, and you can tell the construction is pretty good. There is a nice gold edging all around the outside that not only looks nice but adds strength to the edges. This comforter would look just fine all by itself on the bed, but I did put it inside a duvet cover. It fits perfectly on the bed, and hangs down far enough to cover the sides of my deep mattress. It's so nice not to have to fight over the covers!As for the warmth? Perfect! Not too hot, not too light. We live in Philadelphia, and it's perfect for the winter here. It's so cushy, fluffy and cozy I can't keep the cats off it. It's a luxurious feeling, crawling under this cover at the end of the day. I feel like I'm in a really nice hotel bed.I have not washed it yet so I can't say how it holds up to washing. But so far, 3 weeks in I couldn't be happier with this cover.

Im in love with this comforter!! Its made very well with piped edging and extremely soft beautiful material! It fluffed up very lofty right before my very eyes and within minutes both of my hyperactive children AND my weenie dog were fast asleep on top of it lol. The first night i had it on my bed was the first night my 2 yr old slept through the entire night and if you have babies i dont need to tell you how valuable that is haha! It came shipped very quickly and packaged very well. The entire experience has been a pleasant one and i absolutely stand behind this product 100% and i was not compensated in any way for my opinion which might hold a little bit more weight with some of you. This is a fabulous duvet insert buy it you wont be sorry! I included images of the comforter with and without a duvet cover. So plush and soft! Oh and btw I ordered the oversize king for my extended queen bed so that there would be plenty of overhang on each side of the bed so you can get a better judgement on the actual size of it. Also it feels lightweight and airy on your body but at the same time it is warm and cozy without being sweltering. I was choosing between no less than 10 other comforters both in stores and online but chose this one based on the customer images and reviews plus it has the doby stripes that i was looking for as well as actually being a true baffle box design to keep the down like fiber fill in place which it does perfectly. I just cant say enough good things about this item. I have achieved a 5 star resort bed and this duvet went a long way towards making it that oh so soft and relaxing comfort you expect from a stay in a very expensive hotel. It truly feels like im laying between 2 fluffy marshmellows (i also got a nive thick down alternative mattress cover as well ) im a very happy customer and i think you will be too! I LOVE this insert. We had another comforter on our king size bed and decided we needed a duvet instead for ease of washing. I had decided on a duvet cover from Target and primarily bought this insert because it was the exact same measurements as the cover and I did not want any loose fabric looking sloppy. I was skeptical when I ordered because I couldn't find very clear pictures of how thick and fluffy it was. As soon as I put it on the bed those doubts disappeared. This insert is thick and fluffy but does not flatten out over time like a feather insert. It has some weight, but is comfortable with just the duvet cover and a sheet in our warmer winter climate. I think if you live in a colder climate this would be fine with maybe an extra blanket or two. It is really warm and cozy. It looks great on the bed and seems to be well made. It also has loops on the corners to tie the cover on which is a big plus, if anyone has used those clips before you know they are a pain! I am really happy with this purchase, great comforter at a great price.

UPDATE 2019: after one year (purchased Jan 2018) using this comforter, I can’t say how much I hate it now. It’s so unfortunate. It was great after the first wash but the second & third just went downhill. I only wish each section of this comforter has a seal to keep all the fillings from separating. All the fillings are pretty much gone & this comforter went flat. The extra fillings left would move to the corner specifically to the feet corners which then drags the blanket off to each corner or off the bed. It’s very annoying that I have to shake the fillings to spread out evenly every night. I love how big the blanket is but this problem with the fillings piling up at the end of each corner & how flAt it has gone are a huge problem. I will be tossing this one out. It served well but unfortunately only a year.Before wash: It came inside a zipper bag. It was the perfect size. No damages. No stains. Not used.After wash: It took quite a while to dry since it was a very big blanket. High on dry and blanket came out great. No damages. No threads. No burn.I bought this oversize King for my queen duet cover. I read that to get it big & fluffy its best to buy a bigger insert for the duet. It was perfect. Big and fluffy. Made my bed looks extra soft and comfy. I'm always cold & will need about 2-3 blankets to keep me warm but this blanket was very warm. It kept me warm throughout the whole night. Maybe a little too warm that I kicked the blanket off the bed LMAO!! I think it is more on the heavy side & warmer. But it was perfect to cuddle & wrap my legs on top. My husband loves it as well.Overall, I would totally recommend this!

Aproveche para comprar el tamaño Oversize King por menos de 350. Y es un edredón de lujo pues es muy cómodo y vistoso. Yo lo uso para taparme y para acostarme arriba de el cuando la cama esta tendida y se siente mas suave la cama.

WOW ! A fantastic Duvet, at a fantastic price. Outperforms duvets that cost three times as much. Will definitely buy more of these for our Bed and Breakfast. I hunted for a warm winter duvet and was a bit overwhelmed with all the options. In the end I wanted an affordable duvet that would be cozy during the colder winter months. This comforter is soft and fluffy, just the right amount of weight and super warm. I've even had to kick my leg out at night which never happens as I am always cold. The shipping was also fast. Recommend!

I love to be warm at night. If you are looking for something for winter and you get cold easy this is your perfect match. I love how soft they are. I got 2 more after buying one in 2018. My old one is just getting stained and we have moved to a bigger home where we need one more for the guest room. Great quality. So soft. Everyone loves that blanket so much.
