I buy this every single month, and it never disappoint. It have become a consistent staple in my snack rotation because the quality and flavor are always reliable. The original beef taste is savory and satisfying without being overly salty or tough. Since they are individually wrapped, they are perfect for grabbing on the go or tossing into a bag for a quick protein boost during the day. Finding a snack that is both convenient and consistently good can be hard, but these hit the mark every time. If you need a reliable, high protein snack that holds up month after month, this 20 count pack is a great choice.

Classic road-trip snack done right — flavorful, satisfying, and mess-free Jack Link’s Original Beef Sticks are one of those snacks that never seem to go out of style. I’ve bought these many times over the years for travel, work, and long hospital shifts, and they’ve stayed consistently good. Each stick is individually wrapped—perfect for tossing into a lunch bag, glove compartment, or hiking pack without worrying about spoilage or refrigeration. The flavor hits that ideal middle ground: smoky, slightly salty, and savory without being overpowering. The texture is softer than jerky but still has enough bite to feel hearty. You can taste that it’s real beef, not filler. I especially like that these sticks are keto-friendly and provide 6 grams of protein per serving—just enough to curb hunger and keep energy steady between meals. They’re also shelf-stable for months, which makes them excellent emergency snacks or additions to a travel kit. The packaging is secure and rarely leaks oil, though like most cured meats, they can feel a little greasy if left in a hot car. Some might find them saltier than expected, but that’s part of the classic jerky stick profile. Compared to Slim Jim or gas-station brands, Jack Link’s is noticeably higher quality—less artificial flavor, no weird aftertaste, and a cleaner chew. They’re a dependable, no-nonsense snack that delivers consistent taste and freshness every time. Bottom line: A tried-and-true protein snack that’s perfect for busy days, hiking trips, or tossing in your desk drawer. Tasty, portable, and satisfying—the kind of classic that earns its place in the pantry.

These things were so good! I was in a serious car accident last year and was pretty much immobile for several months. I needed some good quality, satiating snacks to keep by my bed so that if I got hungry when there was no one available to make me a meal, I had something. I like them so much I would keep them on hand for just regular snacking now that I'm completely healed.

I'm diabetic and I have one or two of these when I just don't want to cook so my blood sugar stays level. The original ones do not raise my blood sugar and they do not cost the price of the zero sugar ones so win-win. I like these. You don't need to refrigerate them and they taste good - unlike Slim Jim's I can't taste overwhelming preservatives. I know they are there, but these are nice. Slim Jim's - not to knock them, but they taste like preservatives - so not really pleasant. I do like Duke's shorty sausages, but once open if you don't finish them in a couple of days you need to put them in the fridge - and Duke's, for as much as I do love them, they have bits of bone in once in a while. Jack's is very smooth, so you don't have to worry about that. Jack's sit on my counter and I will take a couple of them to wherever I'm going rather than looking for something carby. Four stars because... I get 18 each time, not 20. However, on this website, the price for '18' is one dollar more than getting 10 in my local store. So it's still a better price. Disappointed Jack's Links can't count. But they do make a good product. I still buy them.

These taste great and always come in fresh. They are cheaper than getting them at Sam’s.
