The most important feature of any eyewear retainer is it keeps you and your glasses in touch and together in a way that minimizes or prevents damage to the glasses. I have the CHUMS Slims on my regular glasses and now on my sunglasses. I am frequently on the lake or driving a convertible with the top down. I am also a photographer and I switch back and forth frequently. I have had other retainers slip off the glasses at the most inopportune time and had to juggle cameras and glasses while on a boat and have it not end well. These have staying power. On my regular glasses, I wear them 24/7 when I am not sleeping. They are comfortable. They do give me an occasional tap on the back of the neck to remind me they are still there.

I’m a professional photographer. When I look through my cameras I have to put my glasses up over the top of my head and with the many other retainers I’ve had they always seem to drop off the back of my head or they get snarled up around my ears. I love these because the silicon is very thin, they don’t get stuck around my ears and I don’t have to struggle with them at all. If I tighten them my glasses stay put on the top of my head. They’re also the most comfortable I’ve had. Wish I would’ve discovered them only ago. Highly recommended. Particularly for people who have to manoeuvre their glasses a lot.
