The shortest length is 1/16 inch, longest is 1/2 inch

The hair on top of my head is 2 inches in length, will this be work on my haircut?

This comb is not for cutting the top. This tool is specifically for tapering (cutting) the sides of classic guy haircuts.

would this work on kids?

Hi! Yes this works on kids, its great for blending on kids because if they move it will prevent you from dipping in as aposed to a flat blending comb. If they have fine hair you may have to take smaller sections to work out any lines sense you do have to hold the comb parallel. Thanks
