VIDEMA Motorized Roller Shade Fabric Samples（Fabric Grey, Fabric Beige, Fabric Brown）

I ordered jacquard beige which is a very durable fabric with texture and white blackout on backside, which is good from exterior view. Very well made, I upgraded to wrapped valance and flat bar at bottom which is worth it and gives a designer high end look. I ordered the wired plug in (more reliable for me) and Eliot helped me with video chat for easy set up of favorites settings and the integrated smart home app which allows setting up open/close scheduling. The remote control also can be set for 10 shades, so you only need one if you've got 10 or less shades (but I rarely use the remote since I've got everything scheduled through the app. Been looking for automatic shades for years so I don't have to climb on my couch and use step stool over my kitchen sink, and I am extremely happy I found these! I ordered 4 total (three are for double windows).

Purchased this shade to cover large window facing setting sun here in the desert. Price was right. We were given an estimate by a company here in town of twice as much $. If you take very accurate measurements of the window enclosure the seller handles the remaining considerations. There was some confusion as to when the unit would be delivered , but communication with Elliot solved that. The delivery was made in a little over two weeks for a custom made, motorized shade over 70 inches wide. Not bad. (the Amazon web site indicated 6-8 weeks for delivery?) Working with seller is a plus, Elliot will answer any questions you have. I installed it by myself (wife is afraid of heights) , but two people would be easier. Took roughly an hour to install using a drill ( shade came with pencil and gloves!). Instructions to mount are good, skip part about inserting motor because it is already assembled completely. Brackets (3) holding shade are solid and secure. I especially liked the fact that the remote was already programmed. Motor unit needs to be charged . Full charge after delivery took roughly 3 hours (blinking green light will indicate when charge is complete) The quality appears to be A1, and the finished installation looks good, even for a DIY job. We wanted 100% blackout for this window . There is a small amount of light leakage on the sides, hardly noticeable . Motor noise is minimal( think electric shaver). Speed of shade drop and rise is good. I would highly recommend this unit

Ok, I ordered the shade Aug 31, 2021, received shade Sep 15, 2021 at 3:20 pm. Installed by 4:15 pm. It worked out perfect! Amazon estimated delivery Sep 23 - Oct 5th, I got it today! The shade is light weight, well built, and easy to charge. The size was perfect! Looks very nice and does block out the sun light. Installed it in the bathroom so it also provides extra privacy. The remote was already set, I only had to remove the tab for the battery and done! I'm very happy with this purchase. I did not rate sheerness because the shade is not sheer. I do recommend VIDEMA Motorized Roller Shade, 100% Blackout Remote Control, Wireless, Rechargeable Auto Blinds with Valance Cover. The size is customized. I have not connected to Alexa yet. I needed a large blackout shade to darken my bedroom that had an opening toward my downstairs living room ; I wanted something to use as needed ( working nights, sleeping during the day) and I was so glad to find this company to make the shade exactly the way I wanted; it was very easy to install ( not by me😊), it works very well, and completely (I was circumspect) block the light; it came very carefully packed, all pieces inside, no complaints at all with the product, just excellent ! Delivery tough …very disappointing ! Despite my written instructions ( to DHL) and requests made by phone to how and where to be delivered , the product was left outside the condominium building with any kind of notification; luckily, due to large size of the package, nobody took it; I am very pleased with my purchase, and the company even emailed me and asked me if everything it was okay, it was indeed, thanks!

After two years, the motor completely failed. I emailed the company to see if I could get a replacement, even if I had to pay extra, but never heard back. Looks like my money is gone on this blind. Honestly, you’re probably better off buying in-store — it costs more upfront, but if something goes wrong, the process to fix it is much easier.
