HOT TOOLS Pro Artist 1-1/4" Black Gold Digital Curling Iron

I can’t seem to do consistent waves or curls with my straight iron, wand, or round brush. I have them all. Per my hair dresser’s suggestion, I decided to try a good curling iron. She recommended this brand. And I love it. Sturdy but light, and the barrel is the right length and width (1.25") for my medium-long hair. The curls come out natural and loose. Heats up fast and I can lock the heat setting. Overall very easy and fast. My hair dresser suggested changing direction for every other curl, and that’s working well. I just let my hair fully dry, either naturally or with a blow dryer, and then use clips to section the hair. Getting so many compliments on my hair. Wish I’d purchased this iron sooner.

El producto venía bien protegido pero al abrirlo al parecer ya había sido sacado con anterioridad, como se puede ver el cable venía suelto la caja en donde entra el cable giratorio estaba roto, la tenaza venía con una especie de producto aceitosa, y al conectarla como se ve no enciende. Sin duda haré la devolución.

I picked up this Hot Tools curling iron after my L’ange curling iron quit on me in less than a year—super frustrating because I really liked how that one curled my hair. I was hoping this would be a comparable replacement. At first, I was skeptical. The finish on the wand isn’t as slick as the L’ange, and since I have somewhat frizzy hair, I wasn’t sure if it would smooth and curl the same way. But after using it a few times, I’m happy to report—it works great! My curls look nice, and it handles my hair better than I expected. One thing to note: the clip handle is a bit bulky and can be a long stretch to manage, especially if you have smaller hands or short fingers. Luckily, I’ve got what I call “man hands,” lol, so it’s not a deal-breaker for me. But it might be for others! Overall, I’m happy with this curling iron and would recommend it—just keep the handle size in mind depending on your hand size and grip strength.
