Good sounds

This is just what i wanted, it played all my old cassette tapes, Sound is perfect,it arrived on time and well packaged,

I bought this 0n 25th September 2025. I used it for about 30 minutes virtually every day to listen to spoken word audiotapes and found it excellent until 15th January 2026 when the earphone jack ceased to function swiftly followed by crackling and cacophonous sounds on the speaker meaning no intelligible sounds were being produced.Consequently had to throw it away.It has lasted less than 3 months so definitely not value for money.

Great product. Excellent price for the quantity. The built-in speaker is ok but a bit tiny...but you would use headphones anyway. Easy to use nice big buttons. Dad loves it.

Product so easy to use and the headphones I ordered fitted perfectly - at a certain age I can now play all my old cassettes and sing and dance around the room - thank you for this excellent product

Bought this cassette recorder for my mother to help her go to sleep with classical music.It is fairly quiet when on.Sound good but for its size not as loud as a Sony.But still well worth the money.

Brilliant little piece of retro kit. Can't fault it at all.

It works as a cassette tape player without the need for headphones as it plays out of the speaker on the front. The sound is fine when playing a tape. However, recording on it is an entirely different matter. There is a loud background (more foreground really) sound such as scrrrrrrrrscscscrrrrr (🙈🤣) and then the recording comes through but you can barely hear it above the aforementioned noise. Having said that it does have the ability to connect a microphone to it and as I don’t have one I haven’t been able to check how it records using this. It also has the option to insert headphones. Again, I can’t try say how it would work using those. I was hoping my kids could have fun playing with this much like Kevin did from Home Alone …. ‘Hey, I'm gonna give you to the count of ten…’ Am I a mother trying to relive some of the 90’s?? Yes, yes I am, and for that I give it 4 stars as it’s make me a very happy Mummy. The kids…. They’re mildly impressed but largely think it’s hilarious 🤣🤣🤣 It’s only allowing me to upload the video demonstrating the rubbish recording play back. It isn’t uploaded the recording of it playing a music tape which sounds infinitely better - sorry!
