Q: Are the boots thigh high?

Yes, the boots reach to the upper thigh. Be sure and measure your leg so that you order the proper size boots. I used a piece of cotton twine to wrap around the circumference of the leg as well as the length, and then measured the twine with a measuring tape. Take several measurements, because legs swell, to insure that you order the correct size.

Q: Can I use just on feet and calf’s but not thighs?

Yes you can. It has options to have compression on just certain areas. I highly recommend this product. My dad uses these compression sleeves/leg unit at least once per day and says they are better than the set his physical therapists had. Good quality. Good value for the price. Easy touch button settings.
