Streamlight 88073 ProTac 1L-1AA 350-Lumen Multi-Fuel Every Day Carry LED Flashlight with Non-Rechargeable Batteries, Coyote

I own 3 of these and just bought another for my Wife. I always carry a light because I Concealed Carry. Being a former Firearms Instructor, I have seen and been many places where you will need a flashlight during the daytime as well as the night. I have used them in dark buildings where the power suddenly went out or a room where I couldn't find a light switch. Or that occasional time where you drop a small item and need to find it easier. It replaced my Streamlight Macrostream, which is a Great Light also, but I have moved away from the Re-Chargeable Lights for EDC. Nothing like helping a person out with a problem on their car, but now having to find a place to re-charge it, then spending 45 minutes re-charging your light leaving you without one while walking across a dark parking lot. Now, I simply change the battery. I keep a couple of spare batteries in my Vehicle and my little EDC sling pack. My re-chargeables have been relegated to spare light in the truck or "Desk-Duty" around the house. The "Dual Fuel" feature is excellent. I generally use the CR123 Batteries for extra brightness, and the fact that I use them for several other battery powered items. But the fact that I can also use a standard AA Battery and still have plenty of light when I need it, is a great Idea for being prepared. I own several much more expensive Surefire flashlights costing 3 to 4 times the amount I paid for this light, but this Streamlight ProTac 1L is the light I carry. It's enough light for my needs and just the right size for my pocket.

Pro's: I have been using this flashlight for several years. I EDC two flashlights everyday (this one and a smaller one), with both using the CR123's, I always have a spare. I have only used the dual fuel option with AA once or twice, great to know I can use both. The clip is fixed and has a hat bill loop, handy! the strobe is easy to initiate and nice to have. Very bright. Pushbutton on/off/strobe. has never failed, even through the washing machine. Con's: I don't think it has brightness options, just bright & strobe. My other EDC has 4 settings, just use that one for dim.

This is the second one I’ve bought (to keep in my truck) I’ve been carrying the first one for about three years now and it’s by far the best EDC flashlight I’ve ever had it’s basically been through hell and it keeps working, it is bright, waterproof and durable. I’ve used it under water multiple times when diving, I don’t know exactly how deep under water it will work but I know it will work at least 30 feet.

Just what I expected. Streamlight products are known for their reliability and this model lives up to that reputation. I especially like that it can take different sizes of batteries.

I have a number of really good tactical flashlights that have high lumen output, including some smaller lights, but I wanted a good, reliable, small flashlight for EDC. It is bright enough for an EDC/pocket light. it is small enough/light enough to wear on a pocket without pulling your pants down. I like the option of bright/strobe/low. I normally have a CR123A battery in it but like having the option of using AA as well, in a pinch. I like the 2 way clip that allows you to put it securely in your pocket or clip it to a hat/cap vizor. Already used it at a local restaurant when we had a power failure. People were trying to use cell phone lights. I got out my 1L-1AA, turned it on high, set it up vertically in the sweetener tray and it lit up that whole section of the restaurant. You could hear folks asking the servers about where the light was coming from. Everyone was able to eat with plenty of light. Pretty cool. Good value/good light.

Great flashlight. Batteries last longer than one would expect. Being able two run two different size Batteries is awsome. CR123a and AA. CR123a is brighter burning but doesn't last as long was AA. It's in my pocket everyday. Blows cellphone lights out of the water. You will be amazed how much you will use it. It will shine all the way across my back yard which is 100 yards long in distance

I’ve carried one of this model for years they’re a bargain compared to Surefire lights. Very good quality.

This is Streamlight Protac 1l-1AA is a masterpiece! Excellent high output at 350 lumens, and very useful 40 lumen low. Nice useful beam pattern with a blend of throw and spill. Low voltage circuit can use up old CR123s, AA and even AAA with an adapter. Great every day light, truck light(with cold hardy lithiums) or survival light. The ten tap allows you the ability to run the tail switch as a high only, high/strobe/low, or my favourite edc setup up low/high.

CR123A電池で利用してます。コンパクトなサイズにしては明るく160ｍまでの照射距離があるので普段使いではなんの不満もありません。ストリームライト特有のスイッチプログラムは自分には使い勝手がよく、ノーマルのままのハイ→ストロボ→ローのまま使っています。ローでも40ルーメンあり、シュアファイアの５ルーメンよりも明るく使い勝手が良いです。タップからクリックで常時点灯になるのも良い点ですね。軽くて持ち運びにも邪魔にならず、普段はズボンのポケットにクリップで取り付けて携帯しています。
