JANUA Pilates Board - Pilates Reformer Set, Multi-Purpose Foldable Pilates Reformer Board for Home, 5 in 1 Pilates Sliding Board

First, I am not some young 90 lb gym rat. I am old and looking for exercises that will keep me off the floor unless I want to be there! That said, I don’t spend money on big exercise equipment unless I know I will use it for its intended purpose. I wanted something that would augment my treadmill. Weights or Pilates and reformers looked interesting so I decided to get this Pilates board and test the waters. I read the reviews and some made comments about it being cheap or flimsy but I found the opposite. The plastic is sturdy and good quality. The elbow pads and handles are well constructed and glide easily down the board. No glitch or hiccup at the fold line. Smooth glide the whole way. The elbow pads unlock easily so you can transition to leg extensions. The bands lock in place and I felt secure that they would not break away. The bar is a good diameter and felt comfortable. I have gone through most of the exercises and followed along with some videos. I found the Pilates board a great way to start my Pilates journey. Great price for the diverse range of exercises you can do. And when you are done just fold it up and tuck it away. I am really enjoying my board!

This board is definitely worth the hype. There are so many different exercises that it offers and truly could be for people just getting started or experts. I go through phases of using this because well life gets busy. However, when I use this pilates board it is a full body exercise which is why I love it

This was a gift for my daughter. She loves the fact that it folds for compact storage. She has been using it in conjunction with guided Pilates videos for effective workouts in the privacy of her home. The multiple functions(?) allow her to choose a variety of videos to follow, essentially taking the place of expensive Pilates classes. Since this was a gift that was specifically requested by name, I did not price-compare for value. However, it seems as if the investment was worthwhile since it is equivalent to just 4-5 Pilates studio session in our area. She has not had complaints in terms of quality/sturdiness. I believe she has needed a yoga mat (not included) for some of the video-led workouts she has used. Overall, this turned out to be a good gift!

This is like a full gym workout out ! It’s easy to use for total beginners and it slides right under my bed when I’m not using it , so it’s a great space saver. I’ve already lost weight while using this and eating better . I hate the idea of working out in a gym in front of people so this was a great alternative and a great price !

Super impressed by this pilates board! Wow! So many different workouts can be performed using this thing. The trick is to keep everything together/nearby and not lose the pieces. Happy customer.

Cheaply made plastic

Very lightweight piece of equipment. I was worried about the sliders getting hooked on the middle section where the board folds in half, but this is not an issue at all. The sliders do make a small clicking sound when it goes over that part so if you’re especially sensitive to repetitive noises this may not be the equipment for you. I can’t hear it with headphones and music on. I can do a good mix of exercises and target different muscles easily. Decent resistance for a low-impact workout and I love that I can fold it for compact storage.
