I purchased a few months ago for use as a connection between my laptop and a flat portable screen. The angled end allows for a secure connection with no movement and this works well. Most other cables are not able to power the screen or don't produce a clear display image.

The cable was to power / charge my new iPad from my PC. The iPad kept disconnecting and connecting every so often. Thought it was a software or computer USB port problem, but after some fault finding with different cables and using different USB ports I found out the cable was faulty. Looks like the other 1 star reviews are actually correct. Cable returned for a refund.
