Mini Portable Projector - ELEPHAS 1080P Full HD Supported, Movie Projector for Home Theater/Outdoor, Compatible with iOS/Android/TV Stick/Laptop/HDMI/USB/AV

I watched 20 to 30 videos on Youtube on ratings, and this one was a clear favorite of some many. I did some additional research and came to the conclusion after a few weeks of research that this was the unit to buy. After seeing it, I couldn't believe how nice this unit was, it looks as sharp as a 4K OLED TV outdoors! There's something special about watching a movie outdoors on an 80" screen in your backyard. My use case for this unit is to utilize it during camping trips. For me, there were 3 things I looked for, good video quality, is it fast enough to play video games on without any lag for an average gamer, can it autofocus so I don't have to spend anytime after turning it on, and is lastly, is it power efficient? It checked all these boxes. The first time I tested it, it was dark out at night, but I did have a bunch of random Halloween decorative lights on in the front yard, and it was still super bright. The wireless connectivity was SUPER easy to set up, the remote was great, and I even used a dongle to connect it to my iPhone 16 Pro and had zero issues streaming Netflix and other streaming channels straight to the projector. The value for money here was definitely a huge plus. I was initially looking for a small projector unit for camping trips. I did a bunch of research on those units and ultimately came to the conclusion that they were not worth it. At the end of the day, I was going to need a portable power station to power other items, and also in my case, I didn't care about size and weight since I was using it in a trailer. If I was backpacking and cared about size/weight/battery, then I'd probably not buy a projector at all for various reasons. Also, the nicest portable projector that you can buy, are only good for couple of movies on a single charge, which might be enough, but I wanted to have more flexibility. So at the end of the day, I bought an Anker SOLIX F2000 unit and this projector, with the Anker providing enough power for this unit and other camping gear such as a fridge. Again, high quality image which is super important. I would definitely buy this as a main source rather than buying an expensive TV if cost was an issue, otherwise, I do think OLED TVs are nicer than this, but for the outdoors, or casual gaming in an office, I think this is an amazing projector! Lastly, after seeing how clear this unit was, it really made me rethink having an OLED screen in the house and using this instead!

I've owned expensive projectors that would battle to compete with the ELEPHAs 4k projector . The picture is bright and clear with a great color pattern . I like that the sound also has multiple preset options too to get great sound to match a great picture . We use the projector to watch movies mainly , and now to watch and binge what series all on the big screen . It is so easy to use and set up once your wi-fi is connected , that we now use it just to watch YouTube clips and whatever takes your fancy . I aslo hook up my laptop with the HDMI which is seemless and connects the signal straight away every time , to watch some web based videos and easily navigate web browser searches on the big screen . You can keep it set up however you prefer or easily pack it away in a cabinet until you need it again and its already set up and connected , just click the power button . I love that i can attach a camera/video tripod to the projector to get the perfect viewing angle and throw distance / height . We use the projector every day its so easy and nice to view . I would definitely recommend this projector .

Either you have stumbled across this projector by chance or you searched for it because you heard it was a beast for the price. Either way here's my review. My last budget beast was a Groview, I think it was about $160 or so when purchased. Just replaced with this one. The internal speakers are GREAT for a projector but who uses them? The size and weight and feel are good, seems great quality. The remote is pretty standard. The interface is good, easy to add apps and use them. It does have auto focus and correction which was the selling point for me. The picture is better and brighter than the Groview. Overall this is definitely worth the price.

Frustrating set up experience, misleading product information. I’m using it in my attic with a 60” projector screen which its supposed to support. Out of the box the auto keystone is completely useless. Instead of detecting the borders of the screen the unit set up a huge image that leaked outside the screen onto the walls. It was hard to get into the manual keystone mode since I couldn’t even see the menu. What isn’t also clear is that if you are using a “smaller” screen like 60” you have to get the projector quite close to the screen which means its in the way while you are watching TV. I don’t have the ability to ceiliing mount here. Claiming 4K support on the box is misleading at best. Its downscales 4K to 1080P, which is ok but it should be clear about what it does. Other notes - the remote was almost impossible to open to add batteries. I had to use a screwdriver to pry it open and was afraid I’d break it. Also the lens cap doesn’t go on once its taken off! My biggest gripe is that the advertised auto adjustment doesnt work at all for me. I had to disable it in the options because every time I turn on the unit, it resets to some nonsensical size and I have to redo the settings again. The actual picture quality and audio quality is decent. Still have to decide if I want to keep it after these problems. UPDATE: I decided to return this unit to Amazon after I called support and they were unable to resolve the technical issue of the auto zoom problems and the general flakiness that didn’t give me confidence in this model. Instead I purchased the newer model YG561 which is also listed on Amazon. The YG561 did not exhibit any of the problems I encountered and worked well out of the box. Auto zoom also works fine with exactly the same configuration as the prior unit. This makes me convinced that either the prior unit has focus problems or I received a defective unit. I will write a seperate review for the new model to avoid confusing it with this one. UPDATE 2: Since Amazon is disallowing reviews for the YG561 I’m updating this review to reflect my observations. As noted I returned the WK1 unit and purchased the YG561. This unit has been night and day better. Auto keystone and auto zoom work reasonably well and I can move the projector around a bit and it will self adjust to the screen. I still need to do some manual adjustments but its a far cry from the WK1 unit which required constant tweaking. Picture quality is good, the unit is less noisy, doesn’t get as hot and I don’t have the issue with the lens cap not fitting. All in all the YG561 meets my needs so I am updating my rating.

The mini projector exceeded my expectations! Its compact size makes it incredibly portable, and the image quality is surprisingly sharp. Easy setup and a variety of connectivity options make it a versatile choice for movie nights (but not for presentations). Definitely a worthwhile investment for anyone in need of a reliable and compact projector.

Tried setting this up , no option to connect to wifi won't work with android

Il proiettore si presenta compatto, facilmente trasportabile e con un kit di pulizia della lente compreso nella confezione; il rapporto qualità prezzo è ottimo (con sconti e coupon promozionali lo si può acquistare a circa 60/70 euro), la luminosità in ambienti scarsamente illuminati è ottima e il segnale video ha una qualità nativa di 1080p. La rumorosità della ventola non è mai fastidiosa, l'unica nota negativa è la qualità audio dello speaker integrato, ma è comunque possibile collegare delle casse esterne tramite il jack da 3.5 mm. In conclusione il prodotto è valido e consigliato a chi non ha grosse pretese e vuole godersi contenuti video su un grande schermo.
