Very nice and clean packaging to protect freshness, very little unwanted ground coffe filters, but not a deal breaker, coffee smell great, (decaf) was my purchase. Not the cheapest but is good

I like that these are not in plastic containers so that there are no plastic nano particles to leech out. Taste great too. Reasonable price.

UPDATE 2/20/2015: Rogers Coffee Company, who makes San Francisco Bay coffees, is now including their Freedom Clip FREE inside every box of their K-cups! This Freedom Clip allows you to use these K-cups in Keurig 2.0 machines because it overrides the DRM lockout that forces you to use only Keurig brand K-cups. I don't have a Keurig 2.0 machine yet as my older Keurig is still working fine. However, it's several years old so I've set these clips aside for a time when I must replace my current machine. This Donut Shop blend is still my everyday coffee and I have it on Subscribe and Save so I never run out. What a class act to include the Freedom Chip in every box. That's great customer service! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I'm a Keurig machine convert and, as such, am always looking for new flavors. This Donut Shop blend is one of my new favorites! This is a medium roast that is smooth, but still full-bodied. The packaging says it's designed for an 8 oz. cup, but I find it is still delightful when making a 12 oz. cup. If you like regular Starbucks coffee, though, this probably won't be your favorite because it's not as dark a roast so it's not as bold. I also purchased the Hazelnut Creme and am just as thrilled with it. The hazelnut flavor is not overpowering. You get a smooth, rich cup of coffee with a subtle hazelnut flavor instead of the other way around. The Hazelnut Creme is also a medium roast so it won't please dark roast lovers as much. The design of the cup is unique. It has a plastic ring with a foil cover on the top, just like an ordinary K-cup, but the plastic cup at the bottom is missing. Instead, there is just the soft filter pouch with the coffee inside at the bottom. It works just as the conventional K-cups do, but they take up a lot less space to store and there is less plastic for the landfill. They come in a sealed, clear plastic bag so you will need to put these K-cups in an airtight container when you open the bag to preserve the freshness. You won't want to store them in one of those K-cup carousels or counter top drawer units. A gallon sized zip lock bag or large Tupperware container work well for this. There are unfortunately a lot of really awful coffee K-cups - some that even contain instant coffee - but this one is stellar!
