Q: Why are they so expensive?

They are not full of chemicals like other ice pops. It's actually a good price foe 80 of them. Few years ago it was over $20 if I remember correctly. The kids love them and I don't feel bad about giving them more than one

Q: Are they suppose to all be the same light yellow color??

Yes! You must have received the Colorless Otterpops. They are different flavors, but when they are frozen they are all light yellow. I just purchased some at Costco.

Q: Do these use artificial colors? I need a cost-effective freezer pops with NO artificial colors or flavorings.

I am 99% sure they advertise 100% juice. As I recall there was added sugar which surprised me. I dont think there were artificial colors. If you use this product seasonally I highly recommend the 2oz size and the 100% juice but the price increases from as low as $10 in summer (Costco) to $53 for two boxes of 80 delivered in winter.
