The Koia Plant-Based Protein Shake is a convenient and great-tasting option for anyone looking for a dairy-free protein drink. It arrived fresh and well packaged, and it’s easy to grab on the go for a quick snack or post-workout boost. The texture is smooth and not gritty, which can be hard to find with plant-based protein shakes. The flavor is enjoyable without being overly sweet, and it feels light while still being filling. I also appreciate the ingredient profile, as it fits well into a balanced, health-conscious routine. In terms of performance, it provides a good amount of protein and helps keep me satisfied between meals. For the quality, taste, and convenience, it offers good value for the price compared to similar plant-based options. Overall, this is a well-made protein shake that delivers on both flavor and quality. I would definitely purchase Koia again and recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable plant-based protein drink.

These are my favorite protein shakes have been my go-to for years now. From a quick breakfast to a post-gym boost, they are a daily staple for me that are easy to transport, taste great, and provide ingredients and nutrition I can feel good about. When I get busy, these keep my blood sugar stable and my stomach satisfied. When I'm nauseous due to sickness or migraine, these calm my stomach while getting me much-needed nutrition without having to eat. I lived off of these shakes when suffering from morning sickness while pregnant then drank them nightly while breastfeeding to keep up my calories and energy. These taste similar to the cold version sold in stores like Publix, but I actually find these shelf-stable ones smoother and I don't have to worry about them going bad. I do recommend chilling before drinking as they are more enjoyable ice-cold, reminding me of a super creamy chocolate milk, but I'll also drink over ice if I run out in the fridge. I love that they are dairy and gluten free fitting multiple dietary restrictions. I have them on autoship so I never run out and have recommended them to dozens of people. Thank you Koia!

For medical reasons, I had to go vegan. On top of this, I also have celiac disease, which means no gluten. Then the addition of side effects from several medically necessary medications causing me nausea and other unpleasantness. This stuff here? Perfect thickness, no additional sugar, packed with nutrients, and a texture that doesn't make me gag. It's also DELICIOUS! I have one every morning, and an hour later I'm able to eat without gagging. I also have one before dinner, reducing my appetite and resulting in no heartburn when I go to bed a couple hours later (up at 5AM, in bed by 9PM). It would be nice if the containers were recyclable. I contacted my local recycling place and inquired about it. Big nope. I also asked my doctor and a nutritionist about these, and they gave the thumbs up. I haven't lost any significant amount of weight since I started drinking these about a month ago, but my body feels better, sleep has improved, and I have more energy through the day. Fun fact: standard cereals are high in carbs, which give a short burst of energy, but will leave you crashing later. You need a breakfast high in protein to get through to lunch without crashing a couple hours after breakfast. Lunch should be your largest meal, also high in protein, for energy and no crashing. Dinner is ideally the lightest meal. Going to bed with a full and heavy stomach is a great way to have horrible heartburn and terrible sleep. Snacking on low-carb foods between meals is also very healthy for you, according to the nutritionist I saw. You can have a high protein diet while vegan. These have more than 30% of the protein most people need per day. Two of these are around 70% of my personal protein needs. If it's in your budget, give these a go. If you don't like them, give them to someone else. Several stores also carry the individual plastic bottle versions in their refrigerated goods section, so grab one of each flavor and see which one you like best. Oh, and these also have a hefty amount of necessary fiber. If your bowels have been less than cooperative in one extreme or the other, fiber will help with that.

Great RTD shake option. This is one of the only protein shakes that I’ve found that has both clean ingredients and a good flavor. It’s a bit pricey but I’m willing to buy it anyway because it’s exactly what I am looking for.

The product itself is a 10/10! SO good, low sugar but still sweet enough, smooth and creamy without any grittiness or weird aftertaste. I could drink these every day. And they have a bunch of flavors at whole foods if you wanna try a single first. I tried the OWYN ones because the price was better but they had a terrible aftertaste and I could barely finish the pack. The only reason for 4 stars is that they keep increasing the price and I had issues with both shipments- 1st one had a busted shake and 2nd one came with 11 instead of 12. I did get appropriately refunded but the quality control is questionable.
