The bottles are glass, with black plastic top. The glass is well made, thick, and has a slight wave to it. So they are also attractive. They appear to be designed as sample bottles, but for my purposes they work out perfectly. There were labels included in the box also, but I don't use them. I bought these bottles to hold daily pills. The set comes 24 in the box so it was enough for 9 days for me (a week, plus a couple extra days of overlap) and also a set for my wife. This way I only have to load up the bottles once a week with pills. Creatine and fish-oil pills take up a lot of space, so this sized bottle worked out well. And it has a wide mouth, so even if the fish-oil pills stick to the glass, I can shake the bottle and the fish-oil pills pop out. Note that these are not child-safe caps, so just be aware of this if you intend to use them the same way that I do. But they are easy to open, so people with arthritis will find them easier to open that traditional child-proof bottles. The bottles are rectangular, so they don't roll around in the bathroom drawer when I open and close it. Since I use 9, I have them arrayed 3x3. I normally don't give things 5 stars, but this was exactly the kind of thing that I was looking for, is well made, reasonably priced, and should last forever. Scott

Very good quality. used for engine coolant sampling. Only concern is that the tops needed to be torqued down very securely to eliminate seepage when being shipped.
