Ordered this as a refurbished product and was skeptical if everything would work out. Turns out, router arrived timely and in good condition; setup was unexpectedly simple and efficient, almost enjoyable. Connected devices are now limited by their ‘speed limit’, very fast and no dead zones in my house on both floors. Pricey but definitely recommend it.

Easy setup. Good range in a large house. Devices are quick on Internet, running 2g fiber, and I get good coverage on multiple devices with no issues. Not sure about the armor yet. It seems to slow things down when connecting and I had to delete it from my PC due to blocking common websites. 404 errors. It seems fine on the router. I am happy so far.

I upgraded from a NETGEAR R6400 (AC1750) to the Nighthawk RS200 and the difference with multiple devices online at the same time has been excellent. Speeds stay strong even with simultaneous streaming, browsing, and work devices running. This is a refurbished unit and mine arrived in great condition, clean, set up easily, and has been running without any issues so far. If you’re coming from an older AC-class router and want better performance across multiple devices, this has been a solid upgrade.

Amazon Rview: This review will most likely not get posted. I purchased the Netgear RS700S as "refurbished," which generally means that it was returned and some how repaired (or at least double check to make sure it is working per manufacturer specs). It was not. Router would continuously drop signal. So it appears that Amazon just repackaged it and sold it, as is. Router Review: 1. Administrator menu is very limited on what you can do. 2. When accessing the router's admin menu, it times you out after about 15-20 seconds while your trying to read the documentation for settings. You must re-sign in EVERY SINGLE TIME! 3. You can NOT change the admin user name. You must use "admin." Without the ability to change the admin name Netgear reduced your router access security by 50%. 4. In order to gain access to the needed security for the router, you MUST pay an annual subscription!! 5. Netgear customer service people are rude to you if you turn down the subscription sales pitch, and then reqest to get I.T. support on an issue. They actually hung up on me. At first I thought the over-seas phone line dropped. However, when I called back 2 or 3 times, they would not even answer the phone. CONCLUSION: I returned the RS700S for a full refund and bought an ASUS RT-BE88U router. Everything mentioned above is NOT an issue. Their admin user name can be changes, you have a huge amount of control within the admin menu (including how long you wish the menu to time-out.) NO annual subscription fees. Signals on 2.4, 5, and 6G are very solid. I have 15 devices and not one of them has ever dropped a signal. Also, reboot times are much fast than Netgear's. Great router, security, menu interface, and performance! Customer service wasn't needed because this router just WORKS!!

I was a little uneasy about purchasing a refurbished router. The router came extremely well packaged and looks brand new. All directions were included and the setup and activation was super easy & flawless. I saved so much money purchasing this RS700S as refurbished. I would buy from this seller again. Thanks!!!!

I'm not one to do extra bells and whistles and check every single bloatware added on all these devices, but as a default setup, it wasn't horribly hard, under an hour. IT does seem to auto-connect devices to each devices highest-speed able, which is nice vs attempting to each wifi band. This is my attempt from changing from combo device and into two separate devices to help update items as needed. Previous device could not support higher speeds, so a useful upgrade here. So far it seems to work well and no issues. Yet. but again with these devices , it takes awhile for some things to appear.

Set up time went quickly, and I was running 100 more gig in no time. Armor security is a plus. I would recommend this unit for the price and quality!
